I purchased two gift subscriptions for Leef and Ideas magazines in 2023. Despite multiple follow-ups, we received nothing—no deliveries at all—until early 2025. That’s over a year of silence. No calls, no updates, and certainly no magazines.
After several attempts to update the delivery address to Pretoria (hardly a remote area), the problem continued. Eventually, in 2025, I received just one issue—without explanation—and was offered backdated copies, which completely misses the point of a subscription.
What frustrates me most is not just the failure to deliver, but the complete lack of communication. I don’t want a refund. I still believe these are excellent magazines—but I can’t keep chasing after every single issue I don’t receive. It’s exhausting, and honestly unacceptable.
Until their delivery system and customer service improve, I can’t recommend subscribing to these magazines at all. It’s the worst subscription experience I’ve ever had.
