Repair on Call were appointed by Absa Home Insurance to come and repair our alarm system. The technician came on 2024-07-19 at 10 in the morning and start to take out everything of the alarm system, and install a new alarm system. When it came to get it working he was totally incapable to do the job. He was on his cellphone video calling somebody and asking him what to do. At 19:00 we asked him to pack up as we are to leave to jeffreys bay from Port Elizabeth. We came back early Monday morning. He came back on Tuesday the 23rd of July and worked 3 hrs and said he must leave. Still we were sitting with a alarm system that did not work. We call Repair on call and complain about the technician who was at our home, they said they will come back to us which did not happen. Eventually we send emails to Absa House Insurance about the the incompetancy of Repair On Call. At last a person came from digicall last week to solve the problem. We asked that the technician from Repair On Call and Atlas whose quotation was a R1000 less than Repair On Call to be present. The guy from Repair on call was asked to leave and Atlas came today 12-08-2024 to repair the alarm in 2hrs.
