Repair on Call were appointed by Absa Home Insurance to come and repair our alarm system. The technician came on 2024-07-19 at 10 in the morning and start to take out everything of the alarm system, and install a new alarm system. When it came to get it working he was totally incapable to do the job. He was on his cellphone video calling somebody and asking him what to do. At 19:00 we asked him to pack up as we are to leave to jeffreys bay from Port Elizabeth. We came back early Monday morning. He came back on Tuesday the 23rd of July and worked 3 hrs and said he must leave. Still we were sitting with a alarm system that did not work. We call Repair on call and complain about the technician who was at our home, they said they will come back to us which did not happen. Eventually we send emails to Absa House Insurance about the the incompetancy of Repair On Call. At last a person came from digicall last week to solve the problem. We asked that the technician from Repair On Call and Atlas whose quotation was a R1000 less than Repair On Call to be present. The guy from Repair on call was asked to leave and Atlas came today 12-08-2024 to repair the alarm in 2hrs.

Bought a Fridge from Game Rosebank. It has not worked properly ever since. Reported it to Game who report to Defy. it took a month of technician to look at the fridge.JOB #616425. Who would want a fridge that freezes everything. Already he wanted to repair a 2 month old fridge. He left saying he will ask for a new fridge. It was month of waiting after that. No word from defy. Went to Game and stories that defy has not received invoice form technician. I bought myself another fridge as it was costing me lots of money to have food frozen each time. I want defy to take their fridge and refund me. ******* and substandard appliances sold.

Mike contacted me after I looked for a gas installer on a website. He gave me a good price to install and certify my gas hob installation. After messing me around for weeks with no shows he eventually sent two guys to connect the hob to an isolater and gas tank. These guys had no idea of what they were doing. Did not have all the tools and we're ***********. They promised to send me certificate by email. Mike kept telling me he sent to my 2 different emails but to date I am still waiting. I don't think they are even authorised to issue certificates. The guy checking for compliance only checked if the gas plates came on. No other checking. Stay away from this company

On Thursday the 3rd of November 2022 I requested a plumbing quote through a website called Upstaker. Shortly afterwards I was contacted by Mike from On Site Appliance Repair. https://onsiteappliancerepairs.co.za/. He sent 2 of his employees to come and assess the problem with my geyser that was not heating up. I had to pay them R200 cash and the gave me a verbal quote of R1200 to repair everything in order to make the geyser work again. I confirmed with Mike telephonically if this sounded right and he said yes. His guys then left and said they would return on Friday the 4th with the parts to fix the geyser. On Friday they returned and did the repairs telling me to give it a while to heat up and they then left. Mike sent me an invoice and I immediately arranged cash for him to collect. 2 hours later still no hot water. I then repeatedly tried to contact Mike telephonically and on Whatsapp and was ignored. Eventually later in the evening he phoned me back and said they would come and rectify the problem on Saturday the 5th. The same guys arrived and could not find the problem. Then after a lot of head scratching the told me the new element the fitted had blown. How is this possible I asked??? Only then did the check the circuit breaker on the Distribution board and said it was faulty. I then forked out another R300 for them to go and get a new one and put it in. Still no joy. After much head scratching again. They said they would have to get a new one and could only return on Monday the 7th. Before they left I repeatedly tried to contact Mike again but he ignored every attempt I made. Come Monday numerous calls and messages were again ignored. He eventually sent me a message on Tuesday the 8th to say his chief technician by the name of Christian will be here at 2:30 pm. Its now Wednesday 3pm and nobody is here. Mike once again has ignored all attempts I have made to contact him and the bogus no he gave me for Christian. Pathetic service by a crook. SHAME ON YOU MIKE +27 67 744 1636. DO NOT USE THIS GUY AND WARN ANYONE ELSE YOU KNOW.

I got the worst service from this company onsite Appliance Repairs. They fixed my washing machine at the end of October and I experienced problems the next month. I have been calling them and they have been promising to come and assist me but never showed up until today. I feel like I wasted R3300 for nothing even though I was promised 6 months guarantee. Be careful people, I do not want to see you in the same position as I am.

NAME and SHAME - Onsite Appliance Repairs. I will not recommend Onsite Appliance Repairs 078 632-2444 / 067 834-8713 - Chris I had a problem with my freezer ,got their number in the adveriser. They came out and for R600 regassed the freezer. The next day my freezer was still not working. Called them and they came out with no tools to check what the problem is . They told me they have to take the freezer to the workshop to investigate. That was the last time I saw them or my freezer. No communication from them . I have been calling at least once a week and then Chris told me that he was in KZN for the lockdown. Upon his return 10th of June I was told that my freezer was removed from their premises while they were not there? Chris told me that he will get me another freezer but till today -nothing . He keeps on telling me that he will phone me..I plan to open a case of theft against the owner/ company tomorrow and I would not recommend them at all.
