Good Day Aneli
We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with our service.
We acknowledge that your brother Anele Patrick Molosi went to our Mosselbay branch today for a full comprehensive eye test which cost R99.
However your brother required a Drivers Screening to be done, which he unfortunately failed. He did not pass the Screening and therefore a Certificate could not be given to him.
He will not pass the screening without a pair of spectacles, and this was explained to him. He is welcome to also have a screening done at the Licencing Office and they will also explain this to him.
The Optometrist did advise him to have a set of spectacles to be made up in order to be presented with the Drivers Screening Certificate, because he has a very high prescription.
Your brother is more than welcome to go in and get a quotation for spectacles, once he decides to have them made up then on collection he will be given the certificate.
We are not allowed by law to give a Drivers Screening Certificate to anyone who does not have a pair of spectacles or contact lenses and if they fail the test.
We do offer a full comprehensive eye test which costs R99, this includes a digital report afterwards which is a detailed report of your eye condition. If you request for your prescription to be taken away then we charge you an additional R400. This is communicated on all our booking messages, marketing material and can be found on our website as well.
https://optique.co.za/n2nWe do hope that this is a clear explanation to you.
Regards
The Optique Team
