Poor Workmanship & a deep money pit

After reading other reviews I now realise I'm not a special case... TAKE YOUR CAR TO CAR SERVICE CITY IS SHOOTING YOURSELF IN THE FOOT! took the car in for a replacement of fan belts, shocks & engine mounting (total cost R7700), car came back not starting (Battery had died somehow), it had a new oil leak (so aggressive that the whole engine oil leaked out in less than 2 weeks) and it had new noises underneath. When I sent it back to correct this I was then asked profusely to pay for undercarriage wash (worth R600) so that they can diagnose the leak 😳 and they ultimately charged me R1100 to fix the leak! They said the new noise under the car was due to one of the new shocks bought and they offered to put back my old shock to stop the noise... I paid thousands to get the car fixed, returned it and paid more, all while using an Uber to get to work and facing oil spill penalties at my complex! Save yourself please 🙏 exhaust all your alternative options before choosing car service City - Their complaints service is also ran by lawyers who are quick to point out what they are entitled to with no sympathy for your situation so be careful
