I am nothing short of astounded at the poor treatment I received at this store. I took my pearls in for restringing and the person who helped me said he would send them to his ‘pearl lady’ and get back to me with designs for clasps. After 4 days I hadn’t heard anything back so I called and asked him to get back to me with the plan for my pearls. 24 hours later I had not received any response, so I phoned again, this time a bit irritated, and asked again that he phone me. He did this time, and as I was in theatre operating, spoke to the anaesthetist I was working with. I say speak, but he screamed at her, disregarding her trying to tell him that I would phone back later, as I was operating. She eventually had to put the phone down on him he was screaming so much. Then followed no less than 5 phone calls that I still couldn’t answer. When I had finished operating I phoned back. He screamed at me for 3 minutes on the phone and I could not get one word in. He then slammed down the phone on me. Needless to say, I collected my pearls the next morning and will certainly never go back. The owner of this store has no idea of customer service, and has anger management issues. I am warning my entire network of contacts to stay away. I’m not sure how they are still in business.
