Standing lamps that don't stand. Brittle, broken in one day, made in China.

Their wooden furniture may be custom made, but stay away from any other items they seem, especially their lamps, which are poor quality Chinese imports. Both the standing and bedside lamps are completely unstable (Ouhout's shop assistant acknowledged the problem and suggested I 'stick it to the floor'). They break instantly if they fall over, because they are made from cheap, brittle plastic resin. I ordered two 'bronze' lamps, but received the wrong lamp on both orders. One broke the same day it arrived, and no refund was offered. So I have had to pay full price for a broken lamp that was not even the lamp I ordered. Absurd lack of accountability over poor quality products. Avoid.
