Bought a vehicle from them . Two weeks before delivery took place. No jack present , sparetyre in vehicle flat . Purchase the vehicle on 300880km on clock , used it for about 3700km and then the gearbox breaks on my way to Kimberley . Contact salesperson and inform him and he said he will send me a number of someone he knows that work on gearboxes , received no number . I think to pay alot of money on a vehicle and use it for about 3700kilos is unfair .

Dishonest and deceptive about vehicle history; refused fair compensation for losses.
They are dishonest and fail to provide full disclosure regarding the history of the vehicles they sold me. I purchased a vehicle based on their assurance that it had never been involved in an accident. However, I later discovered that the vehicle had, in fact, been in a major accident. The company made no effort to compensate me for the resulting losses and merely offered a trade-in at a significantly reduced value — approximately R100,000 less — effectively passing the loss on to me.

Outeniqua Motors, Raw Deal
Outeniqua Motors in George. I bought a double cab from this business, end of Dec 2023. ABS warning light came on, 1km after leaving their shop. Long story short, the vehicle has been back at Outeniqua Motors 3 times, since then. Currently still in a workshop, somewhere, for the past 16 days. The owner of the business is adamant that he will only replace the ABS pump, with a second hand pump. It's an essential part and he is risking my safety. Also caught his salesman lying about replacing a fanbelt pulley, which they claim to have replaced. Outeniqua Motors has absolutely no regard for business that I am losing and I am now battling to get my money back. Be very careful of buying a used car and stay clear of Outeniqua Motors.

Unfortunately There's no zero star rating available. *************, *********** staff and owner. Bought a vehicle 28 Dec. Had to take it back on 3 occasions. The last 10 days were spent on diagnosing the problem. Staff was caught out lying, saying that engine parts were replaced, that were still not replaced. ABS Pump, that is a crucial part, they want to replace with a second hand pump, while vehicle is still covered under their "guarantee" Anyone wanting to do business with Brent and his team, are free to contact me for a more detailed review. Stay away from Outeniqua Motors!
