South Africa to UK in 1 easy move

brilliant experience. My husband and I moved from our house in Hoekwil (near Wilderness, George RSA) to Newhaven (Lewes, England) when we were first sent the forms to fill in, the info requested to be filled in was way out of my league... In a panic, I contacted a lady at OMS and asked her what I should fill in and how. I was assisted by Marieta van Zyl, who very patiently spoke me through the whole process, from the first hurdle of not knowing how much a cubic meter was, through to assisting me with the paperwork for our AIT number for moving our household goods into the UK. She was there all the way through the whole process - from our initial questions around moving, through to our goods being packed up in our home in South Africa, being placed as a part load in a container, and ultimately being delivered to us in the UK. Marieta was a mine of information, and a voice of calm, sanity and stability in what could have been the most hectic time of upheaval in our lives. At a time when people who have done this move before us, and have ended up with horror stories to tell, OMS and Marieta saw us through to the end, with only the best of stories to tell!!!
