We visited Pachas on September 2nd to celebrate a family anniversary, expecting a high standard of dining, given the reputation and the premium pricing. The ambiance and service were excellent, and our initial impression of the food was very positive—everything tasted well-prepared and flavorful at first.
However, my father couldn't finish his meal, while my mother and I enjoyed ours at the restaurant. The evening seemed wonderful until early the next morning, when my father woke up at 4 a.m. feeling unwell and began vomiting. We suspect it may have been from the steak and mashed potatoes, which we later felt might not have agreed with him or been as enjoyable as we initially thought.
This was a disappointing experience for what we had hoped would be a memorable meal, and unfortunately, we don’t feel confident in returning. We believe that for a fine dining establishment with such high prices, the quality and consistency need to match the elevated expectations.
