I received so much care and kindness when I saw the wonderful Dr Graham. He was amazing with my cat and even shared all the results with me. I can highly recommend going there and the receptionist was incredible too, bearing in mind I was so nervous to go to a new vet. SUPERB. Thank you.

This is not the type of establishment that you would take your pet for care. Their prices are and receptionists are mean and horrible - they have no compassion or empathy - STAY AWAY this is not an establishment for the care of your animals, just a ******* of supreme measures.

Dr King has been the trusted vet of our 3 feline sons (two recently deceased) since 2007. All four vets at Parkmore are compassionate, knowledgeable and professional (reception tends to be a bit rude at times but I addressed it with Dr Graeme and it was dealt with well). Losing our two sons to terminal illness would have been so much harder had it not been for Dr Murray and Dr Claire - they both took care of our boys to their last days, giving them the best send-off they could. We will remain with Parkmore for as long as we have fur babies

We have been taking our dogs to Parkmore Veterinary Clinic and have found the service there excellent. I like Dr King very much, I have found him to be a decent person. Even more important it that our dogs like him more and he seems to like them.. I could not believe that unfavourable review written 2 years ago. Not the Practice we know. I would recommend Parkmore any time!

On the 14th of January we took our Yorkshire Terrier for a general check-up at Parkmore vet. Didi was just over 13 at the time as we were concerned about his general health & also his general well-being. Dr King examined him and took some bloods. She did mention his heart murmur, but she said it was not of any concern & that in her opinion, Didi was in good shape for a dog of his age & there was nothing to be concerned about. She called us later that day & confirmed that there was nothing untoward in his blood tests. On the 19th of March we took Didi for his annual inoculations. He had a little shortness of breath & Dr King once again said he was fine. Over the weekend Didi’s shortness of breath became more apparent to the extent that we decided to take him to the Bryanston Veterinary Hospital (BVH) for a second opinion. Dr Singh examined Didi & said he would run some blood tests – we mentioned that we had some recent blood tests & requested these from the Parkmore Vet. The Parkmore Vet then forwarded blood tests that were conducted in 2019. The Parkmore Vet had already closed for the day so the BVH had to run the blood tests again. The Parkmore Vet has refused to refund us for the blood tests. Dr Singh then admitted Didi to Intensive Care where they administered oxygen & did what they could for him. Didi did not respond to treatment and the following morning he was euthanized.

Please be more selective where you take your pets for medical treatment. After my husband and I took our dushhund in February 2019 to get her done at PARKMORE VETERINARY CLINIC, we were taken aback with the medical staff, keep pushing us for more things to add to the "to do list" like vaccinations etc. luckily our baby dush had then already had her vacs. Now this month April 2019, we decided to take one of the pups (about 6 months old) to the same clinic to get her done as well, and again the vaccination issue came up in conversation with one of the medical staff, upon dropping the pooch off. When we went back to go and fetch her after the small operation, the owner - Graeme King, approach my husband, and took up the vaccination conversation, where my husband explained that we need to budget for vaccinations, therefore will only be able to bring her in, in May. Graeme King from the Parkmore Veterinary clinic then caused my husband of not being in a financial situation to have dogs, and that we shouldn't be allowed to have dogs, if we can't cater for the legal requirements like vaccinations. I want to know from Graeme; WHO THE HELL ARE YOU to tell me that I shouldn't have pets? You have no Idea what our financial situation is. We can afford to have dogs and I can promise you that I probably look after my pets better than yourself. We have 2 business in Sandton, and just recently embarked on purchasing 2 new premisses in the area, which is causing a little more than usual strain on our financial situation, but I can promise you that it doesn't mean that we can't look after our pets. I am NOT leaving this situation here. The way you carried yourself with my husband is uncalled for, and totally unprofessional. It is NOT your place to talk to clients like that. People please be aware of this man's behaviour. His greed for profit in pushing his clients for more services is causing him to to be totally unprofessional, and I would please ask anyone for any information you can provide to help me report this man. I am also looking for him to apologise to me and my husband. We are not rejecting vaccination, but merely asking a breathe period where we can better budget to get our pet vaccinated. Parkmore Veterinary Clinic, 124 11th Street, Parkmore Sandton will never see me taking my pets there again. They don't deserve to be called veterinarians. Especially the owner; Graeme King.
