Korean Parts Scams in South Africa.
Having purchased a replacement Kia Carens starter motor on 7th May 2021 the order was fulfilled within 2 days due to delivery issues. The manager/owner almost being unable to communicate in English was just too happy to swipe the credit card asap and when finally receiving the unit boxed all perfectly and the courteous bows were completed I fitted it that day, As of 4:35 p.m. yesterday it stopped working and upon calling them was told no warranty on electric spares as was indicated at the bottom of the invoice. Is this actually permitted where suppliers offer no warranty at all on goods? - I shall never be visiting these scam artists again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not one time was it ever communicated that the unit had no warranty until the invoice was produced. 7 weeks later and they insist on buying a new one! NOT HAPPY AT ALL !!!!!
