Unnecessary Behaviour - Spoiling the experience

We recently visited your tasting room as a group of ladies from Johannesburg after being recommended to try your wine ****tails. On arrival, we were warmly assisted by Reeve, who truly elevated our experience with his engaging, humorous, and attentive service. His interaction with our group made the visit lively and enjoyable, and we were thoroughly entertained and appreciative of his hospitality.

Unfortunately, the experience changed when Zandile approached our table and asked us to “tone it down,” despite us simply laughing and enjoying ourselves in a respectful manner. This comment felt unnecessary and took away from what had otherwise been a very pleasant visit.

It was disappointing that such a positive experience, led by Reeve’s excellent service, ended on a negative note. Hospitality should feel welcoming and inclusive, and this interaction made us feel quite the opposite.

Sadly, based on this experience, we would hesitate to recommend your establishment to guests who are looking for a relaxed, enjoyable, and social tasting environment.
