Hi Mellow, we understand how concerning it is to have funds on hold. However, in this case, the funds were reserved due to multiple chargebacks raised by customers. When customers dispute transactions with their banks — particularly in cases where value was reported as not received — the bank temporarily reverses those funds while the matter is investigated. As the payment processor, we’re required by banking and card network rules to hold available funds to cover those disputed transactions, as we become liable for the reversals.
This isn’t a decision we make lightly, nor is it done arbitrarily. This is a standard requirement across all payment gateways.
