I previously consulted with one of the consultants specialising in the Hospitality space. They never placed me anywhere. I later changed (over 8 years later) industries to Finance/Insurance. The consultant specialising in this area contacted me and we had a skype call. But no placement. I am not sure who this agency places and who has been happy with their service. I have never found work through an agency, but somehow I hoped this agency would change my mind about how recruitment agencies work.

This company will call you, lie to you by claiming they have a specific job interview for you, then waste your time at the "interview" to get your details. It makes me wonder if a company like this would fake/fraudulent jobs adverti*****ts to "catch" people. I've spoken to several friends and family who warned that they had the same experience with this specific company. The worst part? They wont even have looked through your CV or cover letter when you get there - they have no interest in actually helping you.

One of the worst recruitment companies I have ever dealt with. Both Richard and Lesley are arrogant, defensive and have have no respect for their Product. As a job seeker you are the product they are selling. They are misleading and unkind. Even talikng and complianing about their attitude with supposed CEO Philip( not even sure if I talked to the real CEO) They were dismissive and agressive. Never want to deal or talk with them again.

After applying to a vacancy advertised by the above mentioned agency (of which I had ALL the necessary requirements as they advertised), I were completely dismissed by the recruiter when phoning her to try and arrange a meeting to ensure that my CV get forwarded to the employer. I were told that all of the sudden the employer only want a "single" person for the job, and that I'm married and therefore not qualified for the job?! This was not even stated in their adverti*****t. I'm totally disgusted by this and feel that recruitment agencies are not pulling their weight as they should; they just sit back and wait for the "easiest" CV to fall in their lap to do a quick placement and make ridiculous commissions for their poor and lousy effort. Somebody needs to regulate these recruitment agencies, as they only hold vacancies hostage and make it completely impossible for job seekers to find a job. They are supposed to help people and assist them? All these places do is leave empty promises of: “we have your CV on our database and will call you as soon as we have a vacancy available that fit your profile”, never to hear from them. Even better, ban the recruitment industry, most of them are totally useless anyway.
