PDFHelp.com - Wasted My Time 'Free Editing' a PDF - That I Couldn’t Download

These guys - PDFHelp.com - use the classic, yellow, bait-and-switch style of advertising. Their ads say "Free PDF Editing!"

I fell for this and, like a *****, spent many minutes uploading and editing my document. Guess what.. when you try to download your document, you are asked to pay.

When I wrote their support department an email to complain, I was told by Victor Nathan, from PDFHelp Support, that "We would like to clarify that the editing tools on our platform can be used for free, allowing users to upload and modify their documents within the editor. However, in order to download the edited document in the desired format, a membership is required."

Yes, genius, I know, that is what happened to me, based on your misleading advertising, and a process which you neglected to mention to me from the beginning.

I hope this review helps other people to avoid them like the plague - which I will do from now on.
