I am extremely dissatisfied with the experience I had with CompTIA’s OnVUE online testing platform. I was scheduled to write a CompTIA exam using the OnVUE application, and the process failed entirely due to what appears to be serious flaws in their system. The application repeatedly flagged my upload speed as being below 1MB, despite the fact that I was connected to a high-speed fibre internet connection with a 5G backup. To verify this, I ran multiple speed tests using other applications, all of which confirmed that my internet connection was stable and well within the required limits. In an effort to resolve the issue, I restarted my internet connection, rebooted the modem, and ensured that only one computer was connected to the network. None of this made any difference. What is particularly frustrating is that when I used CompTIA’s system test with the provided dummy code, everything worked without issue. However, as soon as I accessed the actual exam link, the system suddenly failed, with no clear explanation or support provided. As a result, I lost my exam attempt and the full exam fee. I was not given the option to reschedule, nor was any reasonable assistance offered. This lack of flexibility and accountability is unacceptable, especially given the cost of these exams. The entire experience left me feeling misled and unfairly treated. This serves as a serious warning to anyone considering taking a CompTIA exam online. Ensure that your system meets not only the stated requirements, but also the platform’s inconsistent and unreliable checks. Had I known this would happen, I would have chosen to write the exam at a physical testing center instead of relying on a deeply flawed online system.

Absolutely disgraceful - I was busy writing my online Microsoft PL-900 exam, during the process of answering the first question, the proctor messaged to ask if I was finished with my exam, I rep**** no I am still busy with the first question and by the time I got to the 3rd question the proctor ended the exam abruptly with no explanation, I followed the rules and did nothing wrong and paid R1000 for the exam I was thrown out for, for NO REASON!!!!

I wrote the PTE academic English exam on the 22nd of June. It is nearly 2 months later, and I have yet to receive my results, or receive ANY form of communication. I have tried emailing, cant phone because there is no number for South Africa and cant phone out, their online robot, and it said that every time I submit an issue it starts the process from the start. I don't know what process needs to start?! It is not that difficult, if I registered with an email, then all correspondence need to be send to THAT email. And should any enquiries occur, send an EMAIL, just COMMUNICATE! Having to wait nearly 2 months for results is ridiculous and outrages!

I registered on Pearson Vue and received the email that I had created a Web account - 13/03/24 and scheduled an exam for 14/04/24. On 14/03/24 when trying to login to the site - https://navigator.pearsonvue.com/Navigator/pleaseSelect, I received a message 'We are unable to verify your details...' I have searched but could not find any website that provides an immediate response, also most of the urls that I've tried did not load at all. I have an exam tomorrow and if unable to take the exam, would like a refund. Also fix my login issue!!!! I thought that an international company would be more competent.

The proctor did not release my exam and told me my drivers license is expired when it is not. She told me i must hold on whille she puts me through to customers service and they will assist me. She canceled the call without calling me back and did not put me through to customer service (please note i did not close the Pearson VUE Exam screen). She told me i will be refunded and she is logging a ticket. She didnt give me a contact i can call but instead just left me in a lurch. Half the time I could not also make out what she was saying as her English was terrible. My driver's license is valid. She then asked me to upload my id photos and my id is damaged so she could not use it, this i understand. i am going to email them the valid copy of my driver's license and ask to be dealt with by someone else. Terrible, terrible service. My exam was the dp-203 that was scheduled to be written Sunday, February 18, 2024 Time: 02:15 PM South Africa Standard Time. I am amazed that a company as established as Microsoft would allow such poor service to go unnoticed

Wish I can rate 0 stars.I am very annoyed at the fact that its so difficult to get support from Pearson I wish there were other ways that I can write my exam , I checked in for my exam 30 mins prior to take the test(2024-02-12 21:15) got the sms notification and continued the 5 steps everything worked well until I had to take pictures of my work space ! I kept on clicking on any of the 4 options(front,back,left and right)to take the pictures but absolutely nothing happened !!! I had to RESCHEDULE my exam because of this !!! I expect a response fast ! Can't believe Comptia partnered with such a useless 3rd party service provider !

Wish I can rate 0 stars.I am very annoyed at the fact that its so difficult to get support from Pearson I wish there were other ways that I can write my exam , I checked in for my exam 30 mins prior to take the test(2024-02-12 21:15) got the sms notification and continued the 5 steps everything worked well until I had to take pictures of my work space ! My husband took the test in 2020. He had to take it again in 2024. We arrived at the test centre and they said there’s a problem with his name on the system and he has to fix it before he can write the test. They were unwilling to help. He called around and tried everything he can, but they said the change will take 5 days to take effect. Now, it’s fixed, but he has to pay $460 to write again. That’s so unfair! He was there, he wanted to take the test and they refused, why should he pay again for a mistake that was not even his? We don’t want our money back, we just want to reschedule the test.

********** service. The proctoring has gotten worse over the years. They no longer assess your testing space beforehand, they do it during your session. Wasting your time which they won’t give you back or add back when taking your test. The proctors are unhelpful and somewhat rude. My exam was revoked without prior warning from the proctor. The claim is that I had a device on the table. Their rule is that the device needs to be within arm’s reach but I was penalised for this. I have taken many exams on Pearson Vue but as of late, their service has been absolutely poor. Could it be that the money has gone to their heads? I think so. I have no guarantee that I will get my refund or a rescheduling opportunity. Even when they have a ruling/case against you, there is no mediation, they decide and take your money. What a horrible business practice. I hope that Microsoft, Meta, AWS and other companies can give their customers options because we can’t take the abuse from Pearson Vue
