The worst company to deal with. Electrical company that *****s and manipulates with Balwin Properties. We dont have power but everybody in our block has properties as we have short term letting. So they turned our power off. Excuse from Maria Du Preez their employee was sorry the power teipn24 hours back so it might take 4-6 hours to return while everybody else has power. Explain that! Wallet is refilled. They also mark you as sub letting when doing so.

Please allow us to provide some clarity regarding this matter.
With a smart prepaid metering system, the customer is responsible for ensuring that their wallet is sufficiently funded to maintain an uninterrupted electricity supply.
Unfortunately, your wallet balance depleted on Friday evening due to no funds available in your wallet. This automatically triggered a disconnection of the supply. While power is typically restored once payment is made, immediate reconnection cannot always be guaranteed. This may depend on the payment method used and the communication infrastructure supporting the metering system.
For this reason, we always advise customers to top up before their balance reaches zero to avoid any inconvenience. We dispatched a technician first thing the next morning to restore the power that was caused by communication challenges. PEC strives to assist with all enquiries as soon as possible.
Given the time of the late funding and technology restraints, the matter was attended to within our standby operating hours.
