Permatex Failure's refusal to honour their 15 year Guarantee on Workmanship

Your removal of my earlier ratings violates my rights as a consumer of your services. On what grounds are you removing this? Permatex Refuses to honour their commitment. You as a consumer platform you are complicit in this, how do you remove this without doing any verifications? My parents, Rev. S. Modise and Dr. M. Modise, appointed Permatex to repair a leaking roof at 50 Sklaar Street, Willow Park Manor, Pretoria East, Gauteng. The work was completed, after which a 15-year Certificate of Guarantee was issued

However, when the rains commenced, it became evident that the workmanship was not up to standard, as the roof continued to leak. This resulted in visible damage to the ceiling and internal structures.

Numerous attempts were made to contact Permatex to report these defects and request remedial action. While assurances were initially given that the matter would be attended to, no corrective work was carried out, and communication from Permatex eventually ceased.

Earlier this year, we once again attempted to engage Permatex, particularly in light of the further deterioration of the roof and ceiling caused by recent heavy rains, but these efforts were unsuccessful.

As a result, my parents have suffered financial loss and structural damage, including damp walls and ongoing interior damage, directly attributable to the defective workmanship and the failure to honour the issued guarantee.
