Customer service is an after thought....

This is an email that I had sent them with no reply received obviously, customer service is not important to them......

Hi,

I have decided to send an email and see if I am attended to or weather I should try other channels.

Firstly, I was interested in buying a motorcycle from Berry Bikes in Glen Anil it was a BMW 650X, I spoke to Darren and he told me the bike was available. I had every intention to buy the motorcycle and told him I would pay a deposit on the motorcycle to show my commitment.

Previously I was going to buy a motorcycle from “We buy Cars” I had app**** for a personal loan with Capitec bank that was approved, the money was transferred, but after inspecting the motorcycle I found it to be in poor condition and I opted not to go ahead with the transaction. I have been having problems between “we buy cars” and “Capitec” as they have lost the money as it was transferred to a suspense account and they are trying to recover the funds. I eventually told Darren that I won’t be buying the BMW as planned and would like to get my R2000 back. He told me that they don’t refund deposits as per the quote that he sent me. My problem is that I was never told this prior to paying the money and also, I have not physically signed any documentation agreeing to buy the motorcycle. So as far as I’m concerned it is just a credit balance and I want it back.
