Ill tempered shop keeper in Fish Hoek, Cape Town
I took a dining room blind to this dry cleaning operation on kommetjie road, in September in Fish Hoek, and it was returned with a large red stain, clearly from the colours having ran. Unfortunately I only opened it when I returned home as it had been wrapped up, so had to drive back to show them the result as there had been no apology or explanation when I collected it. When I showed it to the proprietor he proceeded to treat me with utter disdain and disrespect. He shouted at me, telling me he isn’t a fabric specialist and that it was not his problem. I expected an apology of sorts, and perhaps even an offer to clean something on the house, but he was probably the most abusive shop owner I have ever had the displeasure to encounter in Cape Town. Even more shocking is that he is the owner of the shop, so you might imagine he would be professional and courteous towards customers. I strongly recommend customers drive the extra distance to another suburb if they want items cleaned in a professional and courteous manner.

Beware of these guys
Had a suit dry cleaned. <br> <br> On return, the Carducci coat hanger that I supplied the suit on was broken to pieces. My spare suit button in pouch in the inner pocket had also gone missing. Small problems, which they could easily have resolved.<br> <br> When I called to follow up, rather than trying to help, the manager was immediately abrasive. To quote: \With all due respect - we dont wash coat hangers"";\""Customers like you\"" etc.<br> <br> Heaven help you if something goes wrong with a garment in their hands."""
