I wanted a get a new kitchen, after waiting many years so I could afford a quality kitchen. I was referred to PG Bison agent who showed me their samples. He told me the supa gloss and the supa matt boars are more expensive. The samples for all the boards were exactly the same. All made of Supa Wood. Just the coating that was different. I knew from when my mom got a kitchen from easy life kitchens years ago which boards to avoid. The chipped wood ones because they don’t last as long. So I was happy with what I saw now. So I chose 2 colours. 1 supa white and 1 brokehill. I was surprised that the carcass used was chip wood. When eventually the door arrived, to my surprise they were chipped wood boards. I said but these are different from what the samples showed. I don’t want chipped wood. Even my previous doors were not chipped wood. I want the wood quality that was on the boards I chose. This matter was escalated to the management of PG Bison, as the samples are made by them. PG Bison took no real interest in this. The difference between the two boards is R800 per board. For 7 boards I would have been happy to pay this difference considering the huge amount I paid for the kitchen. Now I’m expected to incur the loss for the chipped board I did not want, and still pay for the new boards. They do not care about customers, they do not take responsibility for their products.
