Niche shopping centre. Major draw card, a Woollies. Pleasant enough, well positioned but a detraction?, toilet facilities. Presumably, when out shopping, one doesn't go out to use toilets. It happens. If you at St John's, need to use a rest room, you told to ask the security to open it. When you find security, you told it will cost R2.00. Amount is insignificant, but there is signage stating the charge is for cleaning the facilities. Now I ask you, are tenants not paying rent, probably as a A grade building which is quite steep and, presumably, has provisioned that as an expense. As paying shoppers, are shopping centres not obliged to provide convenience facilities.

This small shopping centre charges R15 for 1 hour of parking and is constantly altering the terms to take advantage of their customers (the same centre who charge you to use their bathroom and still don't keep it clean). For example, until recently if you shopped at woolworths you would be entitled to 30min free parking. This has now been extended to 45min which is great but where do they hide this info? Under the exit so of course you only see this while paying. I had given the lady my parking ticket and saw the note just then. I told her I have my woolworths slip but she chose not to hear me and charged me R15 anyway and refused to refund me. This is actually theft. The only reason I am parking in this silly centre is that I have recently had abdominal surgery and cannot push a trolley full of shopping a distance away
