Unsafe Camping
Pine Lodge camping side is dirty, bathrooms is dirty cleaners never clean it you have to ask the office to get someone to clean your ******* bins, you feel unsafe to be in the park. The boom is open most of the time so anyone can come in. You and your family will not be safe. The pool is for anyone to use outside people as well. I will not recommend Pine Lodge PE to anyone.

Unsafe Camping
Pine Lodge camping side is dirty, bathrooms is dirty cleaners never clean it you have to ask the office to get someone to clean your ******* bins, you feel unsafe to be in the park. FRIENDLY STAFF
The staff was friendly and accommodating but the chalet we were staying in the staff cleaned our chalet once and we stayed for 4 nights and 5 days. There were no fresh towels provided. The Wi-Fi was not available in our chalet you have to go the reception area in order to be connected. Overall we enjoyed our stay and my kids they enjoyed the pool.

FRIENDLY STAFF
The staff was friendly and accommodating but the chalet we were staying in the staff cleaned our chalet once and we stayed for 4 nights and 5 days. There were no fresh towels provided. The Wi-Fi was not available in our chalet you have to go the reception area in order to be connected. Overall we enjoyed our stay and my kids they enjoyed the pool.

Unacceptable Service
We made use of the facilities on the night of 30th December 2022. To our dismay the condition of the rooms and surroundings were not acceptable: 1. The curtains had holes in them. 2. The "braai area" was not cleaned. Bones from the previous occupants were lying on the floor and in the braai. 3. There was a broken tile in the bathroom. 4. Towels were only delivered an hour after arrival. 5. The garden was unkept. You could see that the grass was not cut for a while. 6. There was litter under the wooden deck. 7. The carpets in the rooms were not clean, had brown stains. 8. There was a black bag left on the ground opposite the unit which caused monkeys scattering rubbish all over. Even though warnings are up all around the lodge. 9. Our neighbours played music after the cut-off time. This is just some of our concerns mentioned. We definitely would not recommend this facility.

racist Management
we had a group booking 12 couples meaning 12 plots at their camping sites plus the hall was booked out. and only two families that weren't part of our group booked at the camping site. they clearly had no problem with us as they kept coming over if they needed something. the Lodge is beautiful and the sites are neat and tidy i loved it, but never again, we booked out the whole camping site from Friday until Monday and we were planning on staying the whole week most of us checked out the Sunday after confirming that there were no bookings for the remainder of the new week. The Manger on duty was a racist clearly he has something against colored people even his staff on duty confirmed that he treats colored and people of color around him like dirt. my whole weekend was unpleasant because of him. I know Michael Beckley since Varsity as I was his senior I knew he had a reputation back then I honestly thought it had changed but too many people experienced his wrath of racism firsthand... I am done with Pine Lodge. I didn't feel like a guest at all felt like an intruder after the security was sent by Mr. Beckley saying that I need to get out of the pool not knowing I booked until Monday morning ...

Pine Lodge Port Elizabeth - Disgusting
We arrived after our 9 hour drive from cpt only to get to Our rooms where. 1. There was no parking what so ever... we made a plan and parked on the verge. 2. The rooms stunk when we walked in... so we though air would sort ot out... but it was embedded in the furniture and the most disgusting carpet we have ever come across. We went for baths and walking on the capets from bathroom to bedroom our feets were black from the carpets. 3 The curtains in each bathroom/kitchen where beyond gross. Stove i would not cook on as it was sticky just unacceptable. We went to get food and came back to even more noise in the car park and music blasting this was at 23:00. Then only to climb in bed to find the 1 pillow had blood on it... it had been wasted but not properly at all. We had decided to cut our stay there stort as we could never do another night. Which was greatly saddened my granddaughters as this was a great treat for us. Only to check out in the am and the reception staff were not at all surprised... she did say a manager would contact me but surprisingly nothing transpired. We are shocked beyond words as the pictures on the website were NOTHING like the room we had. And I can not believe this was rated a 4 star... i will be finding out who rates this as this was behind a joke. Pinelodge PE is a disaster
Wow what a ****py experience all together. We arrived to find a filthy place that was not cleaned and reception telling us that it will take a while to come clean. The fridge in a "6 sleeper" is too small for even 2 people. The pool is ridiculously small and crowded. The noise levels are unacceptable and management couldn't give a damn. I will never ever come here again.

Pinelodge PE is a disaster
Wow what a ****py experience all together. We arrived to find a filthy place that was not cleaned and reception telling us that it will take a while to come clean. The fridge in a "6 sleeper" is too small for even 2 people. The pool is ridiculously small and crowded. The noise levels are unacceptable and management couldn't give a damn. I will never ever come here again.

Refusal to do refunds for canceled accommodation
I made a reservation for accommodation telephonically. I spoke to a certain Michelle who told me to a 50%deposit within 24 hours, which I did. Few days later something came up which led to me deciding not to go to Port Elizabeth as planned. I then called pine lodge for cancelation and refunds. To my surprise, I was told that if I cancel, I will forfeit my deposit of which they never told me that prior to my bookings, even on the pro format invoice they sent, such policy was not enclosed.
