I took my car into Pitstop Fish Hoek to get a quotation on repair of back left brake which was binding intermittently, a minor issue. The people at Fish Hoek Pitstop removed all four wheels and completely disassembled both back drum brakes draining brake fluid out of both brakes. They then started compiling a long list of possible unrelated issues with the brakes and told me I could no longer drive the car because they’d disassembled the brakes and it was no longer safe to drive if they put it back together. I consider this to be a complete **** to ****** money out of me by sabotaging my vehicle. I told them to put it back together, which they did begrudgingly at which point the car was rendered extremely dangerous to drive because the brakes were now faulty, with very little compression and me having to pump the brakes to stop. They charged me R700 saying this was the cost of the quote they were supposed to send me for repairs. I never received any quote. I complained about this a few days later to their head office and they offered to get my car back to its initial drivable state, by, I assume replenishing the brake fluid Fish Hoek branch had drained out the car. They then, in a long drawn out series of back and forth phone calls refused to refund my R700 for the quote I did not receive, saying I could instead get a discount on repairs to my car in future. I just want my R700 I’ve been ****med out of. The person heading up this apparent ****, a Mr Baker so deluded by his false sense of grandeur will not take my calls and appears to not care enough to call a customer back who has been abused. Perhaps others have had Pitstop **** them in a similar fashion?

Very bad service. Wont buy a car again. Lying and no after service. The sales rep Wayne lie about car keys and service record. Now they do not want to supply spare keys as promised. No service book or user manual as stated when sold. WishI checked them out before buying from them. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THESE ******

Had a slow leaking puncture and my mechanic had told me I would need new tyres this year. When I arrived at Pitstop they found nails in two tyres so I decided to replace all of the tyres As it was going to take 1 1/2 hours they offered to drop and fetch me from the beach so I could have breakfast. They also saw a lot of beach sand in the car and vacuumed it Really friendly, caring service

When visting Pitstop in Ermelo at late night or early in the morning is a no go, for their staff is pathetic asspecially when it comes to inflating your tyres and visiting the shop itself. On several occasions I wanted to buy from the shop only to find that there is no assistance in the shop, so much so to find that the cashier is sitting in the petrol attendants room and the shop is completely empty with only myself in the store and that the cashier only comes in the store a couple of minutes later. The petrol attendants doesn't help you to inflate your tyres. You as a customer have to do it yourself even though you don't know how the machine is operated. They only stands around staring at you chatting with one another, and if they do decide to attend to you, they walk like they are in slo motion mode, and to top it all of, being arrogant to the customers. That was my experience this morning when I wanted to inflate my tyre. With no one to attend I was forced to drive off to a next feul station, causing more damage to my tyre to such extent that I had to replace it.

Had issues with tyre that was purchased at pitstop montague gardens. The tyres started cracking on the inside of 2 tyres. Was told to take it to a place for them to access it. Which they did and now they can't help because they say the tyres was driven uninflated which is a load of BS. Very bad service from pitstop and the place that did the accessment. Never buy tyres from pitstop

If you enjoy bad service, and being spoken to like an animal then look no further than Pitstop, Fish Hoek. Never again will I put foot in anything relating to this brand. The guys in the shop were okay, your front desk needs to wake up. it's 2017.
