I don't normally write reviews, but Plant Living has officially earned a spot in my “companies I would bake ****ins for” list - and that’s a sacred list.
I placed four separate orders because when you're starting your grow journey, apparently impulse control disappears faster than your payday. From the moment I spoke to Sheldon, I knew I was in for a good time. Friendly? Check. Helpful? Absolutely. Excited about plants like I was adopting a botanical baby? You bet your grow lights he was. The guy made me feel like we were co-captains of the same grow-op spaceship. Every query I had was answered lightning-fast, and with real honesty - none of that “we’ll get back to you in 48 working years” nonsense.
When one of my items ran into the dreaded "out of stock" curse (not their fault), Candice stepped in like the calm in the shipping storm. Super pleasant, super helpful, and helped me pick a replacement item without skipping a beat. She even made the decision-making process feel like less of a heartbreak and more of a plot twist.
Now, let's talk shipping. I’m in Gauteng, they’re based in Cape Town. I was fully prepared to age a few years waiting - but boom - my stuff was in my hands within 3 to 4 days. Standard shipping. Over a weekend. I’ve had local deliveries take longer to cross the street. Plant Living clearly believes in teleportation. Respect.
The cherry on top? I opened my packages to find a few extra goodies - little gifts of appreciation tucked in with my gear. Unexpected. Thoughtful. Heart-warming. All the items were in great condition, minus a few bruised boxes (thanks, courier chaos), but everything inside? Perfect.
To wrap it up - Plant Living is hands down one of the best, friendliest, most on-the-ball companies I've ever dealt with. If every company treated their customers like this, the world would need fewer stress ***** and more grow tents.
