Based on recent customer reviews, PNA Stationers receives a deeply polarised customer experience. Negative feedback dominates, with recurring frustrations around rigid no-exchange and no-return policies, even for defective or incorrectly supplied products. Textbook and school stationery order fulfilment errors cause significant stress for parents during the back-to-school period. Several customers report rude, dismissive, or racially insensitive behaviour from managers and staff. The loyalty card transition left many feeling cheated of accumulated points. However, standout individual employees like Lethabo, Zanele, and Khabonina earn glowing praise for warm, patient, and exceptional service.

I bought a Sheaffer pen two years ago and I’ve been having print with it that they obviously can’t evidently fix. It has been “fixed” twice without success. The last time they just put a metal piece on the end of the refill. What deception!

As a person who has used PNA stationers in galleria for years to get this type of service is appalling to say the least if I could rate it zero I would. I always try and buy my daughters stationary before the December and January rush. I always drop of the stationary list and collect and pay after, to be given an incorrect text book and when I try to exchange it for the correct text book to be told there are no exchanges on text books and in the same sentence we cannot exchange without a receipt ( which one is it) who still has a receipt from November in January. I was not the one putting together the stationery but to me met with attitude from the manger of the store is ridiculous

Paying for textbooks, never collected it and the sales person insist I have collected it. I've been to the branch with my payment receipt and he still insisted I collected the books but there is no Collection Receipt. He said he's gonna look for my Collection Receipt, waited for a while, never came back to tell me what's happening, I went to the manager explained her what's happening and she said he's busy looking for the Collection receipt, he will call me back. No calls received and I went back to the branch. Spoke to the sales person and he said he's going to order the books. This means, either the books wS given to someone else, or it was never ordered. January 2026 @ 17H18, I received a call from the sales person saying he has ordered the books and will let me know when to collect. This is not on, as the child is questioned every day for their books. They can't work due to no books.

I went to PNA Valley View on 28 Dec to buy my kids stationery and school books. While i was shopping for the stationery my book list was handed to one of the staff members who got that ready according to the ISBN number. 2 books were sourced from different brances, Fault in our Stars and Gr 9 Accobility ISBN 9780958513746. On 9 Jan i went back to Valley View to collect these 2 books. I received the YELLOW Accobility book and the Fault in our stars book and paid for it. Yesterday, 21 Jan was the 1st day my child had to use his Accobility book. He came home and informed it is the incorrect book, it must be GREEN. i received the YELLOW book. My husband went to the store and explained to the staff that we received the incorrect book. They insisted that we received the GREEN book, which i did not. We requested camera footage of the day of my transaction but were told they can only go back 10days and we exceeded those days. The staff were extremely rude to my husband. Today 22 Jan i phoned the store manager Franciska and explained the story to her. She phoned back and said sorry they cant refund me as its more than 10 days and cant get the camera footage. I have removed the label on the back of the book which had the price and description on. According to the staff because this is removed i basically have nothing to fall back on. So either the store they sourced the book from labelled it wrong or your system is wrong, we were informed that the slip shows its the GREEN book. This is not my fault that i was given the incorrect book or that your system is incorrect. Camera footage will show that i received the YELLOW book. My husband was made out to be a ****. I did not check the books when i got home as i trusted PNA staff would do their jobs correctly. Staff also told my husband the YELLOW book was last sold in 2022. So why do you have this in 2026???? Surely camera footage should be available to proof this. I look forward to hearing from you, with a solution to my problem. Franciska did source the book for me BUT now i have to pay again with no refund for a mistake PNA Valley View made and us made out as ****s. Your urgent response would be appreciated.

Yesterday, afternoon approximately 1.30pm my partner and I needed to get some filing sleeves plastic, as we needed them. We asked a young lady to help us she was at first very helpful and young man , they went out of their way to assist us. We decided thereafter to view what else was selling in the store for future purchases. Gou g from isle to isle, looking at certain merchandise. I stopped at the books as I am a book worm. I spotted the Ksto diet books and started to flick through the pages and that moment my partner joined me and we were discussing menus recipes within the book when suddenly the same young woman appeared at our side which startled us . It was if she suspected we were about to ***** the books . It made us most uncomfortable and we immediately put the book back. As she gave us a very strange grin. W then separated J went to the next isle to further look at the other books available picking some up she stood going at us again I became nervous and uncomfortable. Suddenly a few other young men two too be e act started laughing again my partner had joined me . They were laughing at us saying we are trying trying laughing with her whilst they pretended to assume sorting the shelves. I felt immediate rage and confronted her saying to you normally laugh and taunt your customers she denied any behaviour . I was extremely upset. And preceded to to the door where a man stood saying g thankyou. May suggest you train your staff t be a little more sensitive in their service to others. It is not normal totreat paying customers perusing your merchandise as if their ******* taunting them on their appearance Their insecurities should not be thrown on to your customers. Despicable behaviour. Infact intolerable and menacing.

So heartwarming and exciting to have experienced such an excellent, professional, welcoming, out of this world service from Lethabo M. Your service over exceeded my expectations. Your patience, guidance, knowledge, understanding, listening skills and thee best assistance ever, was indeed something out of this world. That was a red carpet service experience right there, wow. I'm truly humbled and really Grateful that we still have people like you who make stationery shopping an experience worth talking about. @PNA New Market, Thank you for creating an environment where your employees treat clients like VVIP clients. Lethabo, keep the good work up, it is truly appreciated. Happy and Grateful client, Sannie
