After a year and a half of use, my Polar M430 developed a problem that resulted in moisture getting into the watch. I live in Nelspruit. I contacted Polar South Africa in Johannesburg and it was suggested I return the watch to them for assessment. The cost was R100 for a courier fee. The technician that assessed my watch determined it was a manufacturing fault and that the moisture internally had caused irreparable damage. Polar replaced my watch with a new unit. The process was painless and I got my replacement watch within four days of initially logging the problem. I rate this as excellent after-sales service that warrants praise. Well done to all of the Polar South Africa team involved in resolving my problem.
