Elon100 system exploded on 2 separate occasions whilst Electrolux technician was testing the unit - they refuse to honour the 2 year warranty by either replacing or refunding me.
They refuse to Honour the 2 year warranty on the Elon100 system.
The Elon100 system exploded on 2 separate occasions whilst the technician from Kwikot by the name of Marcus was testing the Elon100 unit.
Electrolux and Kwikot refuse to replace or repair the Elon100 unit, which exploded whilst their technician was testing it.
This is in contravention of the Consumer Protection Act and I shall be taking apporiate legal action.

27 May 2024, 09:29Good day Muhammed. Thanks for your review. Just to confirm that the installation that you are referring to is illegal in terms of the wiring code and also not according to the installation manual. The Elon unit needs to be installed within 2m (arms length) of the geyser.
The service team that has been on site multiple times confirm that a buzzing sound emanated from the PV panel installation and that some form of arcing occurred, damaging the Elon unit as well as the replacement that was provided under warranty.
We will call you to discuss, but the first step will be for the installer to do a fully compliant installation.
