Tow In ****

****ERS ****** ******ION DISHONEST!!! On the 26 Oct 2024 I had an accident in Pretoria coming from a funeral. The Precision Tow In guy arrived and ask if I had insurance I told him no. I asked him several times how much it will cost to tow the vehicle to my brother or father or jhb he kept on saying he doesn't know. He told me there workshop is not far from the accident location and still I insisted on knowing the price but he said they closed over the weekend but he doesn't think it will be much because the distance is close by. I was rattled and shaken couldn't even complete the form that he made me sign. Eventually when I got the quote it was R103k only for the front left side I refused and said I will collect my vehicle. They gave me the invoice I was shocked R14k. I wanted to know what is the R5500 for and why is the towing to Jhb less R2700 because I wanted a quote for that. They told me it's a flat rate doesn't matter the distance. Imagine if guy told me this I would have never towed my vehicle or at least tow it to my house in jhb rather for that price. The guy was misleading pretended to be helpful and letting me think the 10km distance to their workshop will be much cheaper. He was dishonest because for that flat rate he was suppose to take my vehicle to jhb instead but it's a trick don't fall for it. They want ur vehicle at their workshop to add additional charges if u don't want to fix ur vehicle from them. He also told me I will get the quote on Monday which I only received on Wednesday late afternoon because I kept calling. They gave me a bill for +-R14k to pay before they can release my vehicle. This is ******ion they hold ur vehicle ransom they ****** *****sters. I had to fight 2 days to get them to take the storage and security charges off because they refused to take the admin fees off. They kept on referring to the slip I signed. I told them I was not in the right state of mind and the tow driver had to know better then me by explaining the flat rate at the back of the slip it's standard info motion he must have know about but played dumb pretending not to know the prices when I asked him continuously. They a rip-off because those additional charges would never been added if my car was towed straight to jhb. Imagine paying R7475 for 10km and the same flat rate would have app**** if they towed my vehicle to jhb. How stupid can I be to not have taken the option to my house. These are ******* don't ever trust them chase them away when u see them coming to assist. The lady Natasha is rude and the tow driver Andre still insist he doesn't know the prices how the hell 🙄 the flat rate of R5500 excluding VAT is on the slip at the back he was lying and took advantage of the state I was in. They all ************* and Ali the manager will tell u he's giving u a discount when u fight the invoice don't fall for that its not a discount because ur vehicle were never to be towed to their worship it's a trick to add extra costs for storage security adm etc. Ur vehicle for the flat rate inlude any kms so best to tow it to ur home. To be safe don't ever use them let's make them famous and share this on all media platforms and report and complaints to be submitted to all bodies of state e.g. National Transport, Small Claims Court, Ombudsman etc. Look at all their bad reviews they all the same story take that as evidence and make a claim against them. If we don't stop them they will continue this behavior making money off people's pain.
