Chezlin from Prins Aluminium has been a complete disaster. He was one of the contractors on site for the build of my new home. Various things have gone wrong, massive window not installed securely, extremely dangerous and water pouring through the gaps: peeling paint off brand new door handles etc etc. There is always a snag list on a new build, but his post-work service is appalling. I have contacted him on numerous occasions since April to come and repair with zero response. I do not recommend Prins Aluminium to anybody - atrocious workmanship and no customer service or support when things go wrong!

In March/April 2016 I contacted Gys Meyer of Prins Glass and Aluminium based on the recommendation of a previous client of theirs who was known to me. Subseqyuently his partner, Randley Prinsloo contacted me. We negotiated a contract for installation of doors and windows at a property I am extensively upgrading and renovating. When work began, it was sporadic and he was generally only available at weekends due to the excuse that he had a bigger client that he had to service during the week. He started the work in July 2016 and by January 2017 had still not completed the contract to my satisfaction. The workmanship was generally very shoddy. Some windows and doors had to be replaced or worked a few times due to scratch marks, faulty friction stays, holes drilled incorrectly, scratched glass, incomplete sealing rubbers, frames that did not fit or the openings that had to be excessively filled with silicon, sliding doors that do not operate smoothly, windows that leak and do not open and close smoothly and various other examples of poor workmanship. Their work was very untidy and they always left, metal shavings, *****s, drill bits and rivet sections lying around and never cleaned up after work in any one area. Prinsloo proved to be generally unreliable and often did not adhere to arrangements or arrive on days he said he would. When I contacted Meyer to complain about these various problems he became abusive towards me and claimed that it had nothing to do with him and referred me back to Prinsloo. My whole experience with Prins Glass and Aluminium is that they are not professional and not experienced enough in their field to undertake this type of contract work. Their contact details are - Gys Meyer +72 ********** - Randley Prinsloo +27 82 ********** & +27 81 ********** - The physical address on the quote is Plopt 32, CNR John & Merle Road, Eldoret, Pretoria.
