<p>Paid R1950 for 3 people to clean a 2 bdrm 1 bthrm apartment. Moving day would be following day with the same company, so it would be safe to assume that the company is aware that everything will still be in home boxed and waiting for move.<br />Upon arrival they were shocked that home is not empty. Team started cleaning but I was soon to discover that because they will be moving boxes around this would have been an extra charge of R1000- which was waved after discussion with Martie.<br />Only the bare minimum cleaning was done; <br />Walls were not cleaned, carpets were not cleaned (this is extra) carpets were not vacuumed (their machine broke day before) the carpets were sweeped with a broom.<br />Kitchen cupboards were only cleaned on inside (2 drawers skipped)<br />They did not have proper cleaning equipment, used my window washer & returned it the following day after taking it with.<br />The staff were friendly but because of my assumption that this is a speciality cleaning service and paid so much for it, I had to wash my walls and vacuum my carpets.<br />The estate agent that did inspection upon leaving apartment said that she was shocked and apauled by the terrible cleaning service at the exorbarent charge. She pointed out that for that amount of money they would at least expect the carpets to be washed and the walls cleaned. The light fixtures were not cleaned, which I did not even think about until she pointed it out.<br /><br />This has cost me fees to be deducted from my deposit for cleaning for the next tenant and R1950 upon that.<br /><br />At the end of the day I feel I could have hired a maid, paid her R 200 for the day and receive better cleaning.<br /><br />The movers were friendly and helpful, no damage to any of my property or items.<br /><br /></p>
