They supp**** a part incorrectly, and are now delaying the refund with 3/4 different excuses
<p>Last week Tuesday I hired a car for colleague visiting Swaziland from South Africa. I was charged R2,500.00 for a car that usually costs in the region of R500.00 and was told this to cater for a fuel deposit. The car was returned the same day and I was told the charge eventually came to R985.47 and told that the difference will be refunded or released on my credit card. It should take a maximum of 36hrs. To date I have not received anything. Although the local manager, Gabsile, has been helpful in trying to resolve the matter, AVIS South Africa are truly something else. It's crazy, from 11am till now, I have been unable to speak to Minah, the person handling it apparently. Her Manager, Granton, not available, his manger, Lance Smith, not available. Reception, no one available? How on earth does a company that size function in that manner. Minah was on lunch, then her system down, but she is unable to come to the telephone. I'll try again in the afternoon but I doubt I'll get the money back, school fees I guess that even companies that big can be equated to a group of thugs whose management takes no responsibility for the employees action are never available to sort and queries out. I wonder if I had asked for cleaner if she or he would have been available. Probably not.</p>
