What an absolute rip off. I had a lock replaced at my house today and although they only charge a R 195 call out fee, they extort you when it comes to the labour and parts cost. Lock - R 995, Labour - R 895 and Call Out fee - R 165 totalling R 2,030. When I complained they dropped the price to R 1,600 but this is still a rip off in my opinion. It took the technician only 15 minutes to replace the lock. Please do not use this company!!!
This is the worst service I’ve ever received from Discovery Insure. Firstly our car broke down on Youth Day, 16 June and then when I phoned the call centre they said that there is nothing they could do regarding sending a technician out to access the issue (the parking brake system failed) and I would need to contact the motor manufacturer to assist, all they could do was arrange for a tow truck to take it to the nearest dealership. We then instituted a warranty claim and sent the documents on Wednesday last week and to date have had no feedback after two email follow ups and there has been no authorisation on the repair of the vehicle. As a Discovery Insure Purple client, I would have expected more…
Fast, efficient and friendly service. Darren really went the extra mile to ensure that I received my items quickly. Would absolutely recommend!
What a joke! iStore South Africa are supposed to be the primary retail store for all things Apple. The new MacBook Pro 16” M1 Max 1TB 32GB launched today and they don’t have any stock available. I purchased one last week Friday when preorders went live and was contacted yesterday to state that they had not received any stock. Other third party retailers such as Incredible Connection have stock both in their stores and online but not the iStore. Unless Apple opens up their own stores in South Africa or holds iStore to the same standards, I don’t intend supporting iStore in the future.
Great service received from Simon Ngoepe from Discovery Insure. We experienced problems with our Electrical DB board due to earth leakage issues and Simon kept me informed of the process and kept checking in on me throughout the day to confirm that the situation was resolved. We also received excellent service from the electrician sent out to help us namely LMS Electricians (Kevin). Well done Discovery Insure!
<p>I recently recieved my annual premium increase notification from Discovery Insure, and was shocked to see that it was approx. 30% (R 1,035)! After two emails to Discovery Insure, I was referred to Sharon Dlamini in the retentions department who very kindly relooked at the increase and managed to reduce the increase to a more reasonable 9% (R 332.73) premium increase. </p> <p> </p> <p>Thanks Sharon for being prepared to listen and taking our overall portfolio into account when providing us with the premium increase.</p> <p> </p> <p>Excellent and empathetic service!</p>
