Pep Park Meadows knows they have a problem with FNB cards at their point of sale, but cashiers accept cards which are declined on their system but charged to the customers bank account! I now have to pay bank charges and go through the mission of having TWO transactions reversed through my bank when they could have advised me they have a problem with FNB cards BEFORE I swiped my card! Still waiting for their area manager to contact me while I have paid for goods not received WHICH IS FRAUD AND THEFT!
We have waited over a month for PSG to assess our claims, one being a bath pipe leak which is damaging the ceiling below the bath (about to possibly collapse) and the other being out security roller shutter door in the house. Out safety and potential damage worth thousands is being ignored by an incompetent company who refuse to get these issues sorted! They gladly take our premium payments every month but cannot help when there is an issue which is WHY WE ARE INSURED! DO NOT INSURE WITH PSG THEY ARE PATHETIC.
<p>I applied for unfair dismissal at the Hohannesburg CCMA, representing myself. </p> <p>After failing to give me a fair hearing because I was hospitalized on the day of the hearing, with documented proof from the hospital and my doctor, the commissioner, Mr Coen Havenga, took it upon himself to continue with a prejudiced hearing involving the labour representation of my previous employer. I was not given a chance to present my case or my evidence in a fair hearing. </p> <p>I applied for a recision immediately on 17 November 2016, and was never informed by email or by phone that the matter was due for revue on paper on the 12 December 2016. I was neither informed by the CCMA via email nor via phone that the matter had been decided on on the 21 December 2016. I have been trying to get an answer as to my recision since the CCMA reopened after the December break.</p> <p>I finally managed to get the ruling today, 19 Janauary 2017. Recision declined on the basis that I did not provide any evidence of employment, which I was never given a chance to present. </p> <p>My case was submitted at the Johannesburg branch. Both rulings have come from the Kempton Park branch. Both rulings by the same commissioner, Mr Coen Havengs, whom I have never had the opportunity of speaking to with a fair chance at a hearing. </p> <p>What is going on here? Is this fair labour practice in disputes?? As I am representing myself, naturally it is more difficult in terms of not being a fundi in labour law. But isn't that what the CCMA exists for? To give the disadvantaged a chance to be fairly represented? </p> <p> </p> <p>Frankly, I am disgusted. I don't even k ow where to turn or what recourse of action is available to me. </p>
<p>I paid to hire a chaise advertised by this company for an event in May. When the event arrived, they delivered a completely different chaise, and did not have the purple and silver one advertised on their website. The alternative offered to me was not suitable, as I specifically ordered the colours to fit in with my brand. Therefore, I had no chaise for the 3 day event.</p> <p>After sending two emails to the person I dealt with at Lounge Around (Jasmyne), and the person in charge (Wendy) about a refund for the product I ordered and did not receive, I have STILL not received a reply.</p> <p>As the error was on their side, I do not see why I should be R2436.38 out of pocket. Dishonest and appalling!</p>
