I upgraded one of my six Vodacom contracts on Monday. It is now Wednesday and no one from the activation department have contacted me. They logged on their side that they have tried to contact me. I told them what number they need to contact me on. I phoned the after sales department now to cancel the upgrade. The lady said I will receive a confirmation SMS that the upgrade was reversed. I asked on which number, to which she replied (I kid you not): "I cannot say which number, one of the numbers that you have sir."
<p>One Lorenzo called me last week Thursday from a ********** number with the same rubbish about a R5,000 share scheme. The more I tried to tell him that I am not interested - the louder he started talking. He was downright rude. I eventually put some music on and put the phone next to my laptop speaker.</p> <p>This morning I received a call from a ********** number. When I heard the background noise, I knew it was the same crowd. I politely asked the guy at the other end to take my name off their list - apparently they don't have a list; my name was selected. He would not listen. So the same silent phone treatment. He phoned 5 times. The last time I asked to talk to his manager - calls stopped.</p>
