On 24 January 2024 I paid Bakkie Spares, situated at 93 Lavender Road, Wonderboom, Pretoria, an amount of R8500 for an Isuzu bakkie diff. I was helped by a gentleman called Bertus. I did not have transport to take it home in Delareyville North West. I then agreed with Bertus that he will arrange for the couriers to transport the diff to my home and that I will carry the costs. Months passed and they were not communicating. On 12 August I visited Bakkie Spares and asked Bertus for the diff. He told me that they sold it. I then requested a refund. He asked for my proof of payment. After battling to get it finally got my bank statement and sent it to him today 3 October 2024. I then called him to confirm that I have sent proof and that I need the repayment. He is now shifting the goal posts and saying he is not sure how this can be handled and that he will see what he can do for me and that he is not sure when he will respond back to me. All he keeps saying is that he is busy running around and he will see if he finds time. This is totally unacceptable to me. It is clear that he doesn't want to repay me.

I received good service experience this morning from a Mr Lindokuhle Ngqulungo of Discovery Insure Retension services in Sandton. My car insurance nearly lapsed bcos of a change over to a new bank and failure by the new bank to effect the insurance debit order. Having been told the policy has to first lapse, I got to talk to Mr Ngqulungo who swiftly ensured that the policy is continued. Big up to him
