If you can avoid this place.We arrived at this place on a 4 couples retreat excited to get away from the city life.The lady at the reception seemed to struggle to be friendly and was very dismissive in her answers so we decided to ask as we go. 3 couples were booked into one big unit with 3 bedrooms whilst one couple was booked into a separate unit.We got to the big unit to find the other 2 rooms were small and had single beds just pushed together with single bedding on each of the single beds.We called to ask they join the beds and put appropriate bedding.The lady dismissed us by saying they were fully booked so they couldn't help. The condition of the unit was appalling,the bedding was old and worn out.The cutlery,pots and kitchen utensils were also very old.Fridges were filthy and rusted.The fan was the worst it even had oily smudges all over it.The entrance staircase was broken and a health hazard for the kids. The separate unit was no different but it was better than the other rooms at the big unit. There was no service from the Thursday we arrived till the Sunday we left.No staff present,no replenishment of toilet paper,no checking on us to check if we needed anything or change of bedding.They do not provide towels,soap,etc. We were quite happy to be left alone though. On our last night a couple had an argument and the wife angrily stomped out but they soon resolved their issue and we carried on to complete our holiday.At 10am in the morning the lady from the reception rudely banged the door at the separate unit and screamed it was check out time.We quickly finalized the loading of our stuff and was greeted by this fuming lady at reception saying she nearly got us evicted.She completely fabricated the whole thing and said she had heard banging of doors at the separate unit(Which is a lie as there we were all at the big unit). We apologized for the argument and left only to receive a message that we had shattered the shower door at the separate unit.Which was a blatant lie,do we asked for evidence.She sent a pic which we think is from a previous incident so we asked her for a video call and she declined saying the pic was sufficient and we should take responsibility.All this so she can keep the deposit we paid.She mistakenly thought the argument had come from the separate unit which is much closer to the reception and decided to lie that shower door had been shattered so she can keep the deposit. Overally this is about the worst place l have ever been at.The conditions at this place are bad.
<p>We ordered a large pizza and wings from Pizza Perfect at Boulevard Square in Protea Heights Brackenfell cape town at 2020pm on saturday the 22nd of april.our pizza arrived at 2115pm.the pizza was cold and the base was burnt at the bottom but the chicken wings were fine..i called the store and asked to speak to a manager and angie came to the phone.she told me she was going to send the driver to collect the pizza so she could see if it was indeed burnt,this shocked me but i did not react.seing the time and that we were starving i decided to order another pizza and 10 more wings as i was trying to avoid conflict.the new order arrived at 2150pm,i then expressed my disappointment for the treatment to the driver as he aknowledged that it was indeed burnt and i told him to tell the manager i was not happy with the way she had handled it as i felt they should have replaced my pizza instead of us sitting duck and starving whilst they verified our truth in the matter.at 2158 pm 8 min after we had received the 2nd pizza she tried to call me and i returned the call and she confirmed me that indeed the pizza was burnt.i then told her she was wrong in wanting to have us wait for her to confirm our truth whilst we were sitting hungry,meaning if we had not ordered another we would have had to wait another 30 min to an hour whilst they made another one (it later dawned to me that we actually could have not eaten at all if i hadnt ordered another one as the driver knocked off 10 min after the delivery of the second order),at this point the phone got disconnected (well at least that is what i thought). I called back and it got answered by a lady and was told to hold and a minute or so later the call was dropped.i called back again and she came to the phone, exausted from all this i said she should give my refund to the driver and was told the driver had left i will have to come to the store to fetch the refund the next day. I then told her i was not happy with the way she handled the whole situation and she dropped the call again.i called her back again wanting to find out if she would send the driver the next day with my refund,she was again called to the phone and i asked if she was dropping the call on purpose to which she responded i quote "i dont know it just went poooo on your side",bear in mind i had managed to place 2 orders on the same phone.i then told her it was inappropriate for her to rather send the driver to collect the pizza to determine if it was burnt instead of replacing it and she said 'why not' and dropped the call again.i decided to not call back ,as for the refund i still have not received it or a call to arrange that its made at the time of my writing of this mail which is on the early hours of the 25th of april.i am totally shocked that there are people like this and i will not be buying from this store,i am quite convinced she has done this before and got away with it.it will be sad if she is allowed to continue treating people like this.this is all totally unacceptable.i feel violated,unappreciated and taken advantage of.meanwhile when she was making the situation worse i had my family who were excited about the meal sit and wait for so so long.</p>
<p>Got to this restaurant to order takeaway coffee at 1145am and met a waitress to assist.She asked regular or large then l said to her it's take away and she rudely said l know,regular or large and l pointed out to her it would help if l saw the sizes of the cups.She then ran around for a few minutes and the manager came to ask if we were fine and l told him we were waiting for coffees and he should go and check.This was now at 1155am and he said we should just wait as we had just came in and l pointed out that coffee shouldn't take that long and he said you can't tell us what to do in our business.I think this is extremely rude.</p>
<p>Made a call to Hertz King Shaka,Was answered by Tracy Pather who l learnt is the manager.l requested to get a certain vehicle in the group l had booked.She told me she could not and was not allowed to reserve anything.I pleaded with her and told her l am a regular as l hire cars with them every month.</p> <p>She impatiently responded with clearly insincere politeness and offering no solution whatsoever.</p> <p>I indicated to her that l think it's time to move on as l was feeling unappreciated by not offering a solution and the way hertz sees just a number and there is no service.</p> <p>She then told me she did not like my attitude after l told her l do not want to drive a ****** etios for 2 weeks and dropped the call on me.Just like that.This for me was rude.</p> <p>I wouldn't recommend Hertz to anyone and am now changing a rental company as hertz has taken me for granted for way too long.</p>
