I had arranged a trip to Kruger national park with friends from overseas and some locals and thought it would be a great idea to have us all in 1 vehicle to share the experience of the bush together. Day 1 Thursday evening we received a H1 van which had a loose door on the right side that squeaked non stop, the warning light for an open door continuously was going on. On Day 2 Friday when we went into the park It was extremely frustrating to listen to this squeaking non stop as we drove through the bush so I called Avis to get another van which they offered me a Vito Mercedes which I accepted. Day 2 Friday When we went to get this Vito at 5pm as arranged, it was worse than the H1, it was a panel van that had seats put inside it and was not a transporter vehicle. I dropped off the guests at the lodge and went immediately back to Avis Phalaborwa to return this vehicle and said no ways I am taking this tin can, multiple noise from all areas of the van we could not even hear ourselves talk. I got back to Avis and told them I’ll take the H1 back only to hear it had been returned to the work shop to fix the door. After multiple calls and complaints they offered me a VW for Saturday but this was returned damaged at 10am. I got an sms at 12pm telling me the car that was delivered had a flat tyre. When I went to Avis at 1pm as arranged to collect the VW we were told it was damaged, door was unable to open and there was nothing they could do. After sitting on the phone complaining to the supervisor they found us a car in Polakwane which would only come at 6pm on Saturday night. This meant they Saturday we had no vehicle to drive through the game reserve losing 1 day in the bush. Saturday night a VW of great quality was finally deliver, vehicle 4 for a 4 day trip. Avis single handedly ruined our trip by not having a good vehicle from Day 1. What was more disappointing is we called the main office line demanding to speak to a manager on Saturday only to be on hold of 42 mins and eventually got cut off. Still today 4 days later no calls have come through to see what happened. Still was charged full rates for not even having a vehicle to drive. Most shocking and disappointing display of service from Avis and what’s most upsetting is been on hold for 42 mins and no one bothered to call. Why could I get a VW in working order from Day 1 is amazing. You have lost me for good Avis.

My family member purchased a 2014 Honda Brio off the show room floor from the Tygervalley Honda branch. 8 months after my purchase I noticed rust started to surface, underneath the bonnet, roof, side windows, bolts, hinges and boot. After raising the alarm to Honda they sent me to Dells to have it repaired, done this now 3 times so far and still have the same issue. Best of all still no response from any Management from Honda!!! Very disappointed dealing with Honda.
