Purchased a couch from Centurion Lifestyle Centre. For delivery in Hartbee****rt I had to wait a week and pay and additional fee. Only to have it delivered a week later incomplete. Now we need to wait another week because "Wednesdays" is our area for delivery. Your problem becoming my problem. Very unhappy, poor after sales and interaction from the warehouse manager that doesn't seem to be very helpful.
<p>I took delivery of my Subaru WRX on 26-01-2016 from Hyundai Constantia Kloof.</p> <p><br />On 27-05-2016 the car was taken to Subaru Bryanston for a routine service were I was informed my gearbox had been modified thus resulting in the noise stemming from the gearbox. <br />Liquid Capital (extended warranty I purchased with the car) was contacted regarding the repairs needed. To my luck they were not interested in assisting me as the gearbox was modified and clear signs of alterations were visible.</p> <p><br />I returned to Hyundai Constantia Kloof and had a meeting with the dealer principal, Mr Tienie Potgieter as to discuss the situation; my car was taken to B&S Services upon referral from Hyundai Constantia Kloof for repairs. I personally referred an accredited Subaru dealership to oversee the repairs needed. Hyundai Constantia Kloof indicated they would cover the cost for the repairs needed to my gearbox. <br />I received my car from Hyundai Constantia Kloof on 13-07-2016 with no paperwork or invoices of work done to my car, this after I constantly contacted them and requested all documents to be made available to me. On my way to work on 01-08-2016 my car broke down again next to the N14 highway towards Pretoria, I was not able to select any gears. I again contacted Hyundai Constantia Kloof and asked for assistance. My car was again taken to B&S Services.</p> <p>On 02-08-2016 I contacted Hyundai Constantia Kloof as to inquire on the status of my car. I was immediately informed that they were looking at the possibility of Driver Abuse. This statement was made by Mr Tienie Potgieter without any assessment or work done to my car at this point. <br />I was informed on 24/08/2016 by Mr Tienie Potgieter that an assessment was done by an independent company, JPA Mechanical Appraisals CC, and that Hyundai Constantia Kloof will not pay for the repairs as set out in the report, and I must liaise with B&S Services on further repairs needed to my car. I took the above mentioned report to an accredited AA Assessor who pointed out various inconsistencies and irregular findings in the report compiled by JPA Mechanical Appraisals CC.</p> <p><br /> I made contact with B&S Service, and they do not take any responsibility for the poor work done to my car. I was also informed by B&S Services that my car had to be moved and a charge of R 350 per day would be added should I not collect my car. They refused to release my car if I do not pay them for the work they had done to my car the amount of R 3120.00 was paid for work I did not order or approve.</p> <p><br />On 01-09-2016 my car was towed to my house as it is currently un-drivable. Upon receiving my car from B&S Services I received an invoice stating they replaced my previous gearbox with a second hand gearbox and offered me no guarantee on the replaced gearbox. This was however the first I heard of the gearbox being replaced with a second hand gearbox, as to my knowledge the understanding and agreement was to repair the existing gearbox only.</p> <p><br />I again contacted Subaru Bryanston for assistance. I was told the gearbox in my car was in fact that of a Subaru Legacy, Dual Range HI/LO 5 speed manual, gearbox nr. 5U-TY757XFADB. My vehicle is a Subaru Impreza WRX with a gearbox nr TY758VWABA452351-GB. Clearly this doesn’t add up and is not compatible with my car.</p> <p>I’m currently faced with the following: I purchased my car form what I thought as a reputable establishment, I was sold an Extended Warranty also from Hyundai Constantia Kloof which is a much worth as the paper it is written on. My original gearbox was replaced and not repaired as initially discussed and agreed upon without my knowledge. The original gearbox has since disappeared without any trace of ever existing. I’m being falsely accused of driver abuse since the beginning of this case when it is clear the wrong gearbox was installed into my car by B&S Services. I have been left without any means of transport for the past 5 months; I’m not receiving any assistance to this regard from Hyundai Constantia Kloof or B&S Services. Every month I’m still responsible for paying the instalments and insurance. I was sold a car with clear defects and now I’m paying for the mistakes made by the previous owner. <br />Number of days since car was purchased: 355 days<br />Number of days I had use of my car: 121 days<br />Number of days car has been in for repairs and un-drivable: 234 days</p> <p>Is this the kind of service one can expect from a reputable company such as Hyundai Constantia Kloof. Poor communication, lack of after sales service. Worst experience of my life.</p> <p> </p>
