Letter to Telkom Complaints department - (if they had one)

Firstly it has been the most frustrating experience trying to report a fault to Telkom for my ADSL/ telephone line.

I spent 30 min on your website and kept being redirected back to the same page with the helpful looking picture of a lady with a headset (more's the pity you cannot contact her).

When I tried to report the fault using your automated fault reporting system, I was told there was already a fault reported AND I could not report another!!!

The reference number I was given referred to a fault that was logged in July last year!!! Which had been fixed, but never closed.

Then the battle to find someone to speak to, began……a further 30minutes looking for a contact number (an actual person to speak to about it), I then encountered the automated telephone fault reporting and received the same message on my phone (fault already reported).

Finally on hellkom.co.za site I found the 10210 number – fault reporting number on 10212 was out of service!!

At 4:20 pm today I got hold of Ivan on 10210 who helped me clear the old fault and log a new one, he gave me this email address so I could send you my complaint.

I will also be posting this on Hello Peter and any other social media site I can find.

Kindly respond with your plan of action to correct these issues for future – suggest you allow the automated fault reporting mechanism accept more than one fault at a time OR figure out a way to clear the old faults so they don’t prevent new faults from being reported!

My ADSL line and telephone have been out of order since yesterday lunchtime, there was a man working on the physical lines on the pole at our neighbor before we lost connection.

The router says the line is disconnected. We are able to connect to the modem via wi-fi, but have no internet access. The telephone line is also not working.

I work from home and this has had a big impact on my productivity.

Should my internet and phone connectivity not be restored ASAP I will not be liable for the payment for these services starting from yesterday lunchtime.

Thanks in advance for your attention to this matter.

After receiving an email from this company I Googled them as I had some issues with the information in the email, what I found was a review entitled FRAUDS!!! on hellopeter, but when I logged in and searched for this company they have a 4 star review!

I just got an email from STW and they reference this site http://www.jobmarketers.com/ but when you look at the pics of the call centres there are no people in them! is this a fake site? what about the co. registration? also fake? at the moment they have a 4 star rating on hellopeter, which I find very strange- a different offer to franchise for them. But when they referenced Admin experience in my CV I found it strange as I am listed on SA job portals, but nowhere does Admin experience appear in my CV!-

If someone could please verify that this is actually a real company that would be good
