Do not trust this dealership.We saw a Ford Everest that we liked. We live in Gauteng. Hubby and his brother called the dealer. Negotiated the price. Happy days. Hubby flew to Durban on Monday to finalize the deal. Apparently the person who we contacted, listed on their website, does not work there. Strange. We showed call logs and evidence of communication to no avail. Yet this was on their website. Anyway, we were told no price drop. Price as advertised. Accepted. Received the Offer to Purchase. Sent to bank. Was asked to pay a HOLDING DEPOSIT OF R5K. Agreed. Paid the deposit. An hour later, Received feedback that the vehicle was sold. But how??? Where are the ethics behind this transaction. Surely the bank would not reply within an hour. Yet even with a HOLDING DEPOSIT, the vehicle was sold. Do not trust this dealership. Do not trust their website. Do not trust the people you speak to. And do not think that your holding deposit holds anything. NMI Ford Pinetown is a damn Dirty Dealer. I would love to see the response I get from this. If they have any...
If you are looking into changing medical aid plans to Discovery, write down the name of the person who advises you, the date and the time..Do not trust these rogues, not for a second. Question everything TWICE..I called Discovery on 09.12.19 at 15.25pm. I needed advice on the best plan for my family considering I have a 3 year old with Cerebral Palsy. I received the best information. Anything related to his CP would be covered under PMB. She looked up ICD10 codes and even confirmed that G80.2 was very much on the list of PMB conditions. I explained that my biggest cost at the time was physiotherapy. We spoke about the self payment gap. She advised that I may not even exceed my savings as physiotherapy will be paid from PMB. I asked about his botox needed every 6 months, about any orthotic/prosthetic devices..all covered. I asked about my Lupus. Was impressed to hear that my multivitamins will be paid from chronic. I was blown away to hear that my unused savings would be carried over to the new year. I thought to myself, this Classic Priority plan is abit steep but what the heck, they cover everything. I don't need to stress anymore. I can just concentrate on making my child as comfortable as I can. I really could not afford stress anyways. I have SLE and stress flares up my Lupus so bad. I immediately called my husband and told him to sign us up on Discovery from 1 Jan 2020. Megan Abdool gave me all the information required to make this decision. And then the drama started. It was all blatant lies. Physiotherapy was paid from savings. All 3 sessions a week. Obviously, savings was depleted within a few months. I frantically enquired. The executive relationship manager was just so efficient. He heard my cries. He obtained the transcripts. He confirmed that I was misinformed, on soooo many levels. How many other people are lured into signing in this way? We sit here thinking that pyramid schemes are scams out there to rob us. Here we have a giant in the medical aid industry, supposedly the best of them all, blindly robbing my 3 year old of his savings? So their staff are not trained well enough to advise you correctly and clients must bear the brunt of that? Where is the justice?Luckily all calls are recorded. I sought legal advise and was told that I have a good case. However, I should follow procedure first. By now savings were completed exhausted. The physiotherapy bill was on 10k. I ran out of excuses for the physiothe******. I had no choice but to stop physio completely. I knew this would ruin every bit of improvement that my little boy made in the year but what else could I do? How do I pay this 10k premium and then another 5k for physio? What do I then then feed my other child? I lodged a dispute on 16 October. Still no feedback. And by the way, there is no number that you can call. Cowards won't talk to you. They hide behind emails only. I keep asking for a call but got none. What can they tell me? Sorry mam, our consultant fed you bull#$%@..but these things happen. Your son has gone back to square one and all improvement flushed down the drain because of Discovery but such is life..Please build a bridge and get over it!!!!Never!!!My premium is almost 10k pm. I wanted the best for my child and I will certainly get that. The least you scavengers can do is give me feedback on my dispute. How long does it take to read the damn transcripts, admit that I was wronged, on so many levels, admit that I was lured into signing, fraudulently misinformed..and as a consumer, my right is to get what I was promised. Even if the results are unfavourable, JUST DAMN HELL REPLY..So that I can take this up with the Ombudsman. Don't keep me hanging. My son is paying each day that you delay. On 25 Nov I got this...'Due to ongoing developments in the country, there is regrettably a backlog within the dispute team. This has regrettably affected the turn around time for the dispute investigations. The Dispute team will endeavour to respond to the matter before close of business today.'.....which time zone does Discovery operate in because here in SA..25 Nov was 8 workings day ago. And just for the record, I give a damn of how your turn around time has been affected. Delay on your end has caused me to stop my child's physiotherapy and his condition has deteriorated since. So don't make your problem my problem please. Give me feedback and let me take this matter to the highest level possible and just for the future..DON'T EVER MESS WITH A MOTHER OF A SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD BECAUSE YOU ARE PLAYING WITH RAGING FIRE!!!!
If you are considering changing medical schemes for the new year, DO NOT CONSIDER FEDHEALTH. They will spin you in circles until you fall flat. They will read my review as they did the last one and reply that the 'social media agent is trying to contact you'. Nobody does because nobody there can answer my one simple question..If they approve my 2 year old boys MRI, how can they reject the anaesthetists payment - the full payment. Not even 10% of the bill. They expect your 2 year old to have a crucial brain scan done without moving an inch with no anaesthetic? Are these people even human? I hope I'm reaching out to many parents out there. Don't fall for their bull that they cover your child up until the age of 27. They will **** you before you even see your child finish school. Unfortunately this is a platform on which I cannot swear but you get my frustration. Dear Fedhealth, do not 'try' to call me. Reply here so everyone can see. This scheme does not even deserve half a star. If you have a child diagnosed with a serious illness, admitted in hospital where the admission itself was declined, choose Fedhealth. If you would like to cry for 2 months claiming the 30k that you borrowed to get your child treated, choose Fedhealth. If you would love to experience every claim of yours getting rejected despite ongoing motivation from your neurologist,stressing the severity of the situation, Fedhealth will certainly provide that. If you are keen to know how they expect your 2 year old to undergo an MRI without paying the hospital or anaesthesist, they will certainly show you how they do it. Fedhealth will leave you completely stressed, typing out a message like this at 3am because the stress that Fedhealth has caused me over the past 2 months, the tears that I've cried, over and beyond my son's diagnosis, will forever leave an emotional scar. The embarrassment of borrowing cash to pay the hospital upfront, the embarrassment of hearing relatives ask 'why are you not on medical aid'.. The calling and pleading for a service that I have been paying for.. My son now needs an AFO. I've sent through all the motivation but I'm so certain that even that will be declined. I have just one message to you.. FEDHEALTH HAS WENT OVER AND BEYOND MAKING MY LIFE A MISERY. THE DAY FEDHEALTH TOOK OVER TOPMED WAS THE DAY MY LIFE TURNED UPSIDE DOWN. YOU CAUSED THIS MOTHER MUCH MORE PAIN THAN DEALING WITH MY SON'S DIAGNOSIS. YOU DISGUST ME.
<p>Good day</p> <p> </p> <p>To anyone who may be considering Income Care with Sanlam, please re-think it over. You will be promised compensation in the event of temporary or permanent disability. I have been on temporary disability from August. In mid August I applied for Income Care. I was not bothered about being medically boarded off with a rather high-risk pregnancy because I knew my Income Care would kick in. I mean that's what I've been paying for every month right? WRONG! 2 months later, on 11 October I was notified that my application was rejected due to lack of supporting medical evidence. From then I've been going crazy submitting motivation, evidence, blood results, motivation from both my Gynaecologist and Rheumatologist specifically stating that my pregnancy is high-risk due to my Lupus, specifically stating that this patient should be on complete bedrest for the duration of the pregnancy. One would think that such motivation from a SPECIALIST should be enough to qualify for for temporary disability. It's not. They now require further clinical reports explaining God knows what. Then they would take another 2 months to review that which pushes the application to Jan. But I won't need compensation in Jan because I will already be on maternity leave as my baby arrives in Jan. So basically I've been on unpaid leave so far and get this..there will be no back payment should your application be successful so all these months of not getting paid, no one gives a ****. And that my dears..is how Sanlam will get away from paying me my Income Care..a benefit that I've been contributing towards for the past year and a half. I'm embarrassed to say that I belong to such an organisation. It's an absolute disgrace!!!</p>
