Morne sent his team in a flash to do the quote and then says special offer ending that day to ensure immediate deposit payment from me- Quote was for 420w panels, immediate deposit would ensure "free upgrade" to larger 550w panels. I paid the deposit in January 2024.Utter deterioration from there to the point where I was demanding a refund of my deposit 6 weeks after payment in March as he had still not done the installation. Doesn't take your calls, replies to your messages days after with various excuses as to why he couldn't get back to you. I have asked him questions via wa recently re the installation and have received no reply so be prepared for no after sales service.
<p>I engaged with Maxidor Port Elizabeth to provide burglar guards and paid for them in July 2016. They have been to my home on countless occassions-twice to measure amd 4 times to install, the branch manager has been to my house twice and managers from Cape Town have been as well. The guards are still not all in -the 4th appointment to install has at least got them to installing 5 of the 9 of the guards. Each time they come they waste my entire day as I have to take off work and fit them into my busy schedule and each time the guards do not fit and have to be taken back. it is 4 months later and with each visit they progress a little further. I am beyond frustrated at their level of service. Profuse and continous apologies from the branch manager Stian do not render the situation any better. It started off negativelywhen they called me to make an appointment and then did not pitch and then had the audacity to tell me the appointment was not confirmed and from there ir has been downhill all the way. I am shocked !!! that a company of this standing has not taken some type of measure to correct this situation or do anything to compensate me for all my time and frustration I have had to deal with while they plod along. i am unable to install my blinds or have the alarm system connected as these are the armed guards and the festicve season is already upon us. As a result of the delayed and prolonged installation time- I will have to wait until 2017 to complete the above which could have been done months ago. i signed for them to do half the house initially with intentions of doing the other half later :( The only way they may put a foot in my house again is if they do the balance at no cost. I told the manager the second last time they were at my home if they do not fit... they must come and take them all out and i want my money back. They sent a second installer who installed half the guards knowing that he would be taking the others back. the first installer at least checled all the sizes each time and would discover the guards that were too big or too small prior to drilling and fitting and after wasting more than half a day at my home-would leave. They have tried to convince me to place spacers all down the wall for the too small guards-from top to bottom. They have even pitched up at my home with 8mm plugs and 3mm *****s and tried to epoxy the *****s and plugs in-needless to say the guards were able to be yanked out of the wall. The manager pitched up at my house with normal 3mm *****s purchased from a hardware store-not the approved secure *****s in his quest "to get the job done" albeit how! GRRRRRR from start to- not even- finish.</p>
