Fridge Repair Scam
Contacted Fridge Repairs Cape Town via their website on Friday 6 Dec. On Sat 7 Dec received an email response from Douglas Shiriyapenga that he received my query and was able to assist. I arranged that he come out on Mon 7 Dec. The appointment was for 12h30, at 12h30 someone contacted me to say their current job was running late they would be there before 14h00, 14h00 came and still no one, then got a call from someone else saying they were on their way but would take an hour to get to me, eventually at 15h30 two guys arrived to look at my fridge. It all looked very legit with the gas cannister to re-gas the fridge and a tool box in hand. I was told my freezer needed to be defrosted as that was a cause of the problems, I find that hard to believe as the freezer was not the problem, the fridge was. They proceeded to "re-gas" the fridge, but I doubt any gas went in at all. They said to give it an hour and the coils will warm up and the fridge will cool down. They were paid and left at 16h30. At 18h00 we had load shedding, when the power came back on I waited for the fridge to start cooling but nothing ever happened, unfortunately we had more load shedding the following morning and again when the power was restored the fridge was not cooling down and coils were not warm to the touch. I couldn't even hear gas circulating anymore. I contacted Douglas via mail to ask him to send his technician back but have been flat ignored, I have tried getting hold of the technician and am also being flat ignored. They have my money and that is all that counts.

They are trolling Gmail and sending out flyers selling various products for weight-loss, bulking, anti-aging, anxiety, insomnia, and tanning. Once you have placed your order and payment made the stories then start that there is a delay in getting your order out and the courier service goes from a 2 day delivery time to a 10 day delivery time. Scam - Future Bright Estate
<p>Please be aware that a scam is taking place on various sites that provide rentals. i.e. Gumtree / OLX etc.</p> <p> </p> <p>Pedro Lionel is fronting as an agent working on behalf of Bright Future Property Management and putting Holm Managing Agents information on the Lease, they have no knowledge of any such property they are unfortunately being used. </p> <p> </p> <p>All actions up until receiving the Lease seem legit. After payment is made for the deposit and admin fee then they subsequently add on a fee for the Lease to be signed up and they will change the date you can finalize the lease and collect the keys till the additional monies are paid in. </p> <p> </p> <p>When you try cancel the agreement then being refunded becomes a nightmare and the police and fraud unit at the bank need to be brought in. </p> <p> </p> <p>So beware of a Pedro Lionel or Pedro Danzel advertising a unit in Oasis Lane, Century City, it is a scam.</p>
