<p>My sister and I got our nails done on Friday in De Mala Salon Mount Edgecombe. It's been two days and our nails are already falling off. I do not understand how acrylic nails can fall off so easily. What kind of low quality products are they using and over charging people ? I am disgusted.</p>
<p>Yesterday my sister and I went to get our nails done at De Mala Salon in Mount Edgecombe Plaza. A lady by the name of Roshini assisted us, we asked for the price and she told us Acrylic nails are R195. My sister got her nails done first and me thereafter. While doing our nails Roshini did not discuss an increase in the price. I initially wanted a powder blue color on my ring finger but the container did not open so Roshini persuaded to take another color. When it was time to pay the bill Roshini charged my sister R220 and charged me R300 and stated that she did not charge us for the nail art. After leaving the salon , I inspected my nails and found numerous faults. She did not fully cover my nails with acrylic powder and I could see through almost all of my nails. The shape of my nails were all different. She did not file my nails down and it had lumps and after approximately half an hour the nail art fell off. My sister phoned to speak to the manager Linda and she just referred us to Roshini and both of them was of no help. They eventually offered us a refund of R130 and told us that they were closing at 8pm today. On arrival at the salon today, we saw all the staff members outside ready to close and it was just 5pm. We then asked for Roshini and was told that she was not in, we then said we called yesterday and hearing that the staff members told us that she was inside. Roshini then said that the tills were closed and she could not help us. We then showed her my nails and expressed our disappointment. Roshini was not apologetic and she tried to blame me for the mistakes she committed. After leaving the salon with no help and no apologies , the staff was Still being rude. I am so disgusted with Roshini's behavior and her accusing tone. The staff lied to us and did not treat us like customers. Linda who was suppose to be the manager did not help or even apologise. My nails look terrible and unprofessional.</p>
