I wouldn't have put this here however they emailed me to do a review after my purchase and then responded to my review saying it goes against their website guidelines. I will copy and paste. great product, meh service and delivery The actual fireplace is great, compact but efficient. However Builders itself and their sheer lack of after sales service and communication left a bitter taste in my mouth. Zero comms after purchase, after the allocated time for deliver approached I hadn't received any updates from the online team as to whether the item had left the warehouse or if it had been handed over to delivery company etc. After contacting the customer service department I was told that the item would be delivered that day ( a friday), I made sure that someone would be at home to receive the item ,nobody arrived. Same story the following monday, then late afternoon the delivery driver whatsapped to ask if we lived in a completely different town, then ghosted us. Still customer service unable to get it together. That night the driver said sorry I am now in another town even further away and so we will try tomorrow. Customer service then still couldn't locate or give an exact day or time of delivery or get hold of the driver. Finally late on day 4 the drivers arrive with our waybill that has a completely different town as our address, crossed out with a town even further away. I checked my online purchase, my address was correct on my purchase so where they got the wrong town is beyond me. The following day I received the obligatory apology call with promises to do better, I wont hold my breath. So while the product is fine, Builders, your customer service is severely lacking.
I purchased a bluetooth speaker on takealot on monday for R199. I chose to collect it and paid the R35 collection fee. It was due to arrive at the depo from thursday. On tuesday I received an email from takealot saying 'failed delivery' and that they had logged a return of my item. I knew this wasnt true as I never opted for delivery. I drove to the depot and asked what was going on. I was told that they had on their system it was flagged as a pricing error. On my side it said delivery failure. I checked Takealot again and the item was no longer R199 but R899. The box was at the depot and I could have taken it but I wasnt allowed to. Takealot refuse to honour the sale price I paid of R199. They logged a return on my behalf and I STILL havent been refunded. I want the item at the advertised price. I am in the process of logging a complaint with the NCC.
Best deo on the market. My entire family has used this, teens included, even after a full day of school and sports they DO NOT SMELL! My one child used to struggle terribly with awful BO and I took a chance on this product and on day 1 they got in the car after school and usually I could smell them coming, not even with a deep sniff could I smell anything. It is magic. Pure magic.

**** online store. Advertised on most social media platforms so assumed it was real. Stole my money, wont respond to mails. Absolute ****, do not even bother.

Cell C has not stopped harassing me for weeks. I am not a client of theirs, I do not know how they got my details but they phone me up to 4 times a day offering me **** I'm not interested in. I have asked over and over to have my number removed from their database amd each time they assure me it's removed but I keep receiving calls. Stop calling and harassing me.
I have had the misfortune of having had parcels delivered to me via Aramex. Both times it was a disaster. Communication gets to the point of 'out for delivery' and then days go by with nothing. You try to contact them via whatsapp and the agent responds once and then only again 3 hours later. I called the cape town branch, got put on hold for 15 minutes and the person decided to leave the office for the day while I was on hold. The second time was exactly the same. I got off the phone with the branch with a promise of a call back and it never happened. This has got to be the most awful courier company. I do not recommend it at all.
