I had the worst experience at Eagles Rest Self Catering Guesthouse. The Manager Jean Pierre was not friendly and had a very cold personality. A person is to affraid to ask for anything or report anything. After I had given two weeks notice that I am leaving the guesthouse for work purposes they still invoiced me for another month to pay, this is day-light robbery. I also demanded my deposit back as there were no damages and I even cleaned the room myself and made sure all is in good condition before I left and showed the manager that I left the room in good condition. I still did not received my deposit back and now need to get lawyers to resolve this issue. I was also told by Jean Pierre (Guest House Manager) that I am not allowed to speak to people at the guesthouse including his family. This is a human right violation and freedom of speech. I will not recommend for anyone to stay at this guest house because of the bad treatment by the manager. I am currently staying at a guest house in Namibia from the 1st of July and it is amazing how friendly the Namibian guest house lady is, warm hearted and also very helpful.
Wonderful, compasionate company to work for. They truly care about their employees on an overall basis and always produce support where they can to their employees. It is indeed one humane company. Its the first time in my career that came across such great employer. It is said that if the employees are happy, the employees will be happy to help patients beyond their expectations and produce a great patient experience for the patient as well. Therefore service delivery will be and is of excellence.
On 29 April 2018 I were severely ill so much that I was in need of an ambulance. Once again the ER24 were late by 45 minutes. Thus almost caused more complications. Further to this I was their own employee. That same day I ended up in Resuscitation. But still my own employer Mediclinic neither ER24 didnt even care, I was just a number on their payroll. The fact remain I paid for late service delivery which is unacceptable. The staff service were good. But dispatch time were utterly poor this couldve cost my life for the company that i actually worked for. But hey this will also probably go unnoticed like all the other complaints.
