I joined Carlo's Property Hack Club for property investing in Feb 2020. It's a very practical and informative course on property investment. Carlo is extremely strategic in how he delivers the course content and his methods are timeless. He offers skills that I'm definitely sure will serve me for a very long time in my journey as a property investor. I would encourage anybody who's serious about their property investment career to sign up with Carlo The Property Coach in order to take his or her skills to the next level. Carlo teaches what he is doing himself and not just theory, which adds credibility to his offering. I would encourage anybody who's serious about their property investment career to sign up with Carlo The Property Coach in order to take their skills to the next level.
We bought a second hand Toyota SRX Bakkie from VW Gezina in August 2019. I’ve been in contact with the dealership from a few days after we bought the car and we are still not sorted with the many problems I raised about the bakkie. For starters, the bakkie arrived without a canopy. The bakkie we viewed showed a bakkie with a canopy, we need a bakkie with a canopy - that's the reason we chose it. The car was delivered to us in Lephalale, the seats and interior were filthy and still are. We’ve been going back and forth with them about the canopy and I still don’t have a solution. We emailed them a list with all the issues. They’ve had the car in their workshop on three different occasions, a total of 7 days and still the issues are not sorted. At one time, they asked me to bring the car in, they had the bakkie for about 4 days and still nothing was fixed when they told me to collect the it. Then they took the car in again, I sat in that dealership for the whole day, and the issues were still not cleared by the time I left. They then came to fetch the bakkie from me and had the car for two days and still the issues were not cleared when I went to fetch it. The aircon has never worked, and it’s still not fixed. At first VW Gezina told me to take it to the local Toyota dealership (Lephalale). I booked it in for a full day, the local dealership couldn’t assist because they advised that the problem was much bigger. I have spoken to the Finance Manager, twice and she keeps telling me that her Manager, will get back to me. The Manager has never called me back. I called the Bidvest McCarthy customer care line, I sent an email to a number of people. Then the sales guy called me and said I should bring the car back (mind you - I live in Lephalale!). When I took the car in on Tuesday, 10th, they told me there was no power so I had to leave. They said they'd come collect the car from Lephalale on Thursday 12th December, and they still haven't come. When we called today to enquire they said they are still waiting for the Manager.......!!! What worries me is that there's a terrible sound coming from the front right side and I'm concerned the problem could be getting worse as I'm driving it, let alone my safety. Honestly, this type of service is appalling especially coming from a Mccarthy Mastercars dealership. The admin and time I’m wasting following up with them is very frustrating. With all the issues I’m experiencing with this bakkie, it would have been much easier to get a used bakkie from an auction. At least in that case I would have saved a ton of money and fixed the issues myself.
