My review from 24 July 2024 was never resolved. Their customer service is an absolute shock. Richards Bay Manageress service also not good at all when trying to sell me very old furniture that wasn't moving in the store and damaged.
Be careful to all those thinking about banking with FNB. They've allowed transactions out of my credit card twice that was ******* and say they can't do anything about it. You're money isn't safe. The credit card division does nothing about the transactions even though I brought it to their attention a month earlier. They them allowed it to go off my account a second time. Be warned.
There should be negative star ratings for the poor service. I ordered online and received the wrong product which does happen. The problem comes is it took 3 weeks and probably over 100 emails to get anyone's attention. Still never got resolved even when I went into the local branch so won't buy anything again from them. Rather go into the store if you buy as then you can select the product and pay. Not rely on it to be delivered and when it's wrong battle to resolve.
Service still hasn't improved by Union Tiles Ballito. My mirrors ordered through Pam almost 2 weeks ago were supposed to arrive last week Friday and still waiting. No contact from the shop or even to let me know of the progress. Won't be buying again from the Ballito branch.
Absolutely shocking service from Verishka and Praveen at the Richards Bay Leather Gallery. They had a special for a coffee table. My wife went in and paid the deposit, came home and I settled the full balance immediately as we were promised to receive the item by the end of the week with the truck coming through. Then when the delivery didn't happen on the date, we queried what the progress was and told we would now have to wait between 4 and 6 weeks to get the item. In the meantime, I got smses and got told to pay an additional R1099.00. Verishka sent us apology emails from her personal gmail account stating she would get it sorted out and that we didn't need to pay this R1099.00 as it was her mistake and she would sort it out. Then a few days later told us she can't and we need to pay it and add insult to injury still wait a few more weeks. By then about 3 weeks went by and said to rather refund us which is now about 2 weeks ago and they still not paying me back the full amount and lots of excuses. I will never set foot in a Leather Gallery again and we were going to spend a lot of money buying all new furniture since our renovation.
Absolutely shocking service from Pam at the Ballito Union Tiles branch for a second time. The first time I ordered and paid for tiles and then later told they don't have stock after that confirmed there was. Now I ordered other tiles which was arranged to collect and to be told they locked it in the warehouse and not kept there ready as was arranged.
My issue has still not been resolved to this day. Years and years and a very poor Manageress at the Richards Bay Office supposedly trying to make up for the previous mistakes before her time then trying to sell me old and broken lounge suites where the electronic mechanisms don't work and with lots of scratches and marks on and that one on the floor had already been sitting in the shop for over 15 months at least. Be careful when you purchase from UFO especially the Richards Bay branch as the items they conned me to buy were never leather to start with.
I had a great experience from start to finish and received my product within good time. I'm very happy.
Pathetic, I wouldn't even give them 1 star if there was an option for nothing. Never resolved my query and it's over 3 years later. Stay away
