My wife and I went on a Mediterranean Cruise in April 2019. We took out travel insurance with TIC because we are pensioners and wouldn't have been able to afford medical expenses if any one of us would experience illness of some kind during the trip. We paid a lot of money for the insurance. However, during our return flight from Barcelona to Dubai, my wife developed DVT. When we arrived at Dubai she collapsed when we left the plane. She was rushed to hospital where she was hospitalised for 3 days with all tests being taken. The total hospital fees came to R 15 000.00. In the meantime I had to stay in a guesthouse at a cost of R 12 000.00 and travelling fees of R80.00 per trip for 7 days. When we arrived back in SA I submitted a claim to TIC which was rejected due to a clause in the policy which excludes Cardio Vascular problems. THIS WAS NEVER EXPLAINED TO US WHEN WE TOOK OUT THE INSURANCE. This meant a total loss of R 30 000.00 for us. WE FEEL THIS IS VERY UNFAIR! WHY TAKE OUT INSURANCE WHEN THEY EXCLUDE CERTAIN THINGS WHEN THEY CATCH YOU UNAWARES. I JUST WANT TO WARN PEOPLE NOT TO WASTE THEIR MOBEY ON TRAVEL INSURANCE WITH TIV.
I bought some tablets from BIOTRIM LABS and paid for it. However, the placed me, without my knowledge, on what they call a VIP account and started deducting money on a monthly basis from my account. When I discovered this they have already deducted thousands of rands from my account. When I phoned them they said they cannot do anything about it and they also cannot refund my money. This is a huge scam and people must me made aware of this.
I ordered and paid for a pair of DaySight Glasses on 4 September 2017. I have received a tracking number but cannot find any information about the whereabouts of my order. I keep sending e-mails to their e-mail address: support@dealboom.net as well as info@ultracarcam24.co, but don't get any response from them. I am really very disappointed!!!!

My name is Paul van Schalkwyk. I had a contract with Vodacom for over 20 years. On 25/11/2016 I terminated my contract paying them the full outstanding amount. However on 30/12/2016 they deducted an amount of R 1828.89 from my account again. On trying to phone the they transfer you from one person to another without any success. On 28/4/2017 they deucted another R 823.98 from my account again. On inquiry (Dina) they told me that there are multiple cellnumbers on my account and that I have to go to the Police station to get an affidavid that I only had one number for all these years. I did so and e-mailed it to ********** which I did on 2/5/2017. Up to this moment I heven't received any response from them. On 31/5/2017 Vodacom deducted another R 411.99( ********** ********** 3715) from my account. Somebody at Vodacom is using my information illegally to pay for their phone. This is disgusting since I am a pensioner and cannot afford this. I need to call them to justice!!!!!!

When I phone them they transfer me from one person to another and then eventually I am cut off!!! This is sooooo bad! I am a pensioner and evrey rand is important to me!!!

In January Vodacom continued making deductions from my cheque account on 30 Dec 2016 to the amount of R 1828.98. I phoned them on 6 Jan 2017 and they promised to rectify the matter and to refund my money. I was told that it would be settled within 7 working days. NOTHING HAPPENED!!On 31 January I phoned them again with the same promise. NOTHING HAPPENED!!On 2 February I phoned them again with the same promise. NOTHING HAPPENED!! On 20 February I phoned them again and since then NOTHING HAPPENED. I then contacted HELLO PETER and Vodacom replied that they will contact me. NOTHING HAPPENED!!!!! And here I am trying fot the second time to get some help from Hello Peter.

I terminated my contract with Vodacom on 24 November 2017 paying a settlement amount of R 2687.98.

Since I terminated my account, Vodacom continued deducting money from my cheque account. I phoned Vodacom on 6 January 2017 and they told me Vodacom owes me R 3143.84 which will be deposited in my account within 7 working days. Following up on 31 January when nothing happened I was told that an amount of R 2643.84 will be deposited in my account - nothing happened!!! I then phoned them on 2 February with the same promis. Finally I phoned them on 20 February without any success. I am being transferred from one department to another without any success. The final account number given to me was I ********** at the accounts department. The amount given to me was R 504.00. I am 75 years of age and every cent is important to me. I am really frustrated wit the absolutely poor service I am getting from Vodacom after I have been with them for over 2 decades.
